We did a 3-hour experience at Game Night Out and had so much fun! It was part of our wedding weekend, so we had a mix of family and friends across different generations, many of whom didn't know each other. Once the games started, the energy from our hosts got everybody engaged, and a few hours later, you wouldn't have known that many of the people had never met each other. They randomly assigned us to four groups and mixed up the types of games well to emphasize different styles, all while encouraging some friendly banter between teams. Lots of guesstures/pictionary/charades types. Still fun tho. The least enjoyable game was the “dumpster diving”- two people go head to head and try and rifle through what is essentially a large toy bin and try and find specific items before time. It was slightly hazardous, and you can’t really try your best unless you want to be a jerk or get in the other persons way.
