McDonald's — Restaurant in Lake Villa

Older Latina Manager RUDE! My wife and son ordered 42 dollars worth of food to bring home for dinner. They got home to find that the 3 large orders of fries and 30 chicken nuggets were extremely old and hard. Nothing was fresh. My wife called immediately and told the night manager "Meriel" that the food was inedible. My wife explained that she didn't receive a receipt but had the exact time they went through the drive through. Meriel told her she didn't need to bring the food in to get a refund. I went in the next day and showed Meriel a screenshot of where the money was removed from my bank account on my card. It showed the amount and location and time. Showing proof. She went in the back room and then this older Latina manager came out with an attitude and basically told me I'm not getting a refund without the food and a receipt. Which is not what we were told from the night manager Meriel. A complete waste of time. We will be calling the McDonald's corporate office to file a complaint. Looks like everyone has had issues with this manager and location. Do not eat at this location!!! They don't care about their customers or their quality of...

Foods usually like warm when I come here, terrible customer service, today on April 21st I was ignored by the clerks at the register and then when the manager finally came to take my order, I explained that the app wasn't working And that I had a lunch party that I had to accommodate a ton of guests with food. Granted it isn't the best food. It wasn't supposed to be a fine dining experience anyways ...I couldn't get all of the stuff I wanted through the app and I couldn't get the manager to work with me at all. I ended up canceling the lunch party I had planned, I had postponed it until next weekend and we are going to be doing pizza parties instead of McDonald's. I'm pretty sure Little Caesars will have no problem accommodating us with our lunch party.. I highly recommend the location up the road in round lake or lindenhurst if you want McDonald's. Me? I'll probably just stop going to McDonald's entirely the prices have skyrocketed over the years and ts just a mess All the food is mediocre. It's shrinking and it cost more...

Giving this place a 1 star based on the attitude of the super rude female manager. I got overcharged somehow by over $20 on my meal going through the drive through and while the manager was trying to refund my money she acted like their mistake was my fault. I sat in the drive through for 15 minutes while they figured out how much change to refund me and i still got short changed AND she wouldn't even give me a free large drink which was already handed to me that i didn't even order for the inconvenience. That rude Latina female manager shouldn't be in customer AT ALL! On a different note there is this other young Latina girl that works in the drive through and she is always the most energetic sweetest person in that whole store, That girl deserves that entire store. Kick out that rude manager and hire the nicer younger girl for...
