I really wanted to like this restaurant because we live near it but after my experience yesterday, I sadly will not be back. I was greeted and seated immediately, so things were off to a good start. However, once I was seated, no one came to bring me water or take my order for a solid 15 minutes. This was surprising considering the restaurant was half empty (see photograph). I was finally able to place my order and my food came out in a reasonable amount of time, however it was not cooked as I ordered (the home fries were quite undercooked). I also had not been given any cutlery, so I was not able to eat my food. I kept looking around for a server to bring me some cutlery, but no one came by. Finally, a server came by and said she bring some and some butter for my toast, but she never came back. I finally flagged down another server and received the cutlery. While all of this was happening, I witnessed a server get into a verbal argument with a man waiting for a to-go order. Later, she complained about the man to someone else who came in (I’m assuming she knew him). No one ever came to check on me or refill my water. Once I was done, I waited again for quite some time for the bill, along with a few other tables. There were some sheriffs in the restaurant, so all of the attention seemed to be directed towards them. With mediocre food and terrible service in a half empty restaurant, I will...
Read moreI came here Christmas Eve morning at about 10 am. There’s about 5 tables in here. I ordered a western omelet with American cheese and asked for it to not be well done or brown and a water.
She brings my omelette and it’s so raw in the middle. I noticed as soon as she put it down. I asked her to please have them cook my eggs. I want it cooked just not brown as well as my water. She rolled her eyes , takes my plate and hasn’t even come back with my water.
Just now someone else brings me my omelet and water and there’s no cheese in it. And you can tell it’s the same omelet just threw in the microwave. I told the new person that there is no cheese in it.
I asked another waitress if either of them was the owner she said no. I explained that order was wrong twice and to please make me a new omelet not one that was put in the microwave already once. She assures me that they will make me a new one. Just as she’s saying this the other waitress brings me the same omelet again with American cheese in it that was put in micro. I got up and walked out.
3rd time sending an omelet back should have required a new omelet not just keep putting in microwave.
And you would that the 3rd waitress would have stepped in and said “let me get you a new omelet “ nope....
Read moreI was driving around looking for a nice unique place to eat and found this awesome little hole in the wall. They serve a diverse amount of food mostly being Greek food and classic Southern cooking. They have soups of the say there, I came in around 11:00 am so the soup was fresh and the salad bar was fully stocked. All you can eat soup and salad bar was 7.99. Fresh veggies and Greek salad with feta was a perfect start to my day, the soup was clam chowder. Worth the price, I had 2 plates full of salad and beans and I ate 2 full bowls of soup.
The food was all fresh and had plenty of healthy options. The person who gave this place a negative food review must have been expecting a happy meal with a toy, this place is for people who enjoy real food cooked fresh.
The atmosphere was very "homey" and comforting, what you expect from a hole in the wall diner. I could tell there were regulars and after eating the food i could tell why. This place is not for people looking to party, it is very quiet and is a hot spot for the elderly to sit and enjoy a still environment .
All in all, good fresh food, decent price (this is a mom and pop place, spend the extra money for the better quality in dinner style food) calm atmosphere, maybe a little...
