El Rey Del Taco Express is the best Mexican food in the area (Lupitas is a close second)! This recently opened restaurant has far exceeded my expectations and, in my opinion, is far superior to the previous Mexican restaurant at this location.
From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is different. The modern, bright, and impeccably clean interior creates an inviting atmosphere. But the real magic is in the food – flavorful, perfectly textured, and incredibly fresh. Unlike other Mexican restaurants in the area that tend to offer similar menus and flavors, El Rey Del Taco Express stands out with a thoughtfully curated menu that truly sets it apart.
The service is also exceptional – attentive, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring a great dining experience. It’s clear the team here values customer satisfaction, which is refreshing.
What really makes this place special is that it elevates and refines what’s already available in the local Mexican food scene. If you enjoy Rosalita’s in Lantana, you’re going to love El Rey Del Taco Express. This place is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. I cannot say enough about how extraordinary my experience was, and I’m already looking forward to coming back...

The tortillas were hard and difficult to chew. Meat was overcooked and barely seasoned. Quesadilla was tiny for the price. So...
