Oceanwalk by Benny's on the Beach — Restaurant in Lake Worth Beach

I went to this restaurant on Saturday after around 5 pm , we did not have a reservation ,The dining room was empty and they wanted to put us in the back patio so I ask to speak to the manager the server in the front said that he is not available he wanted to put us in the back patio. where the sun was beaming and it was blazing hot outside we were a party of 11 we asked if he could accommodate us by placing tables together in the restaurant. The gentleman upfront said he’s going to speak to the manager and let us know. We waited about 10 to 15 minutes, come to find out that the manager had already spoken to the gentleman upfront The Manager decision was already made where he was not willing to put the tables together so we could sit in the dining area. The manager did not come and have a conversation with us. We end up taking the table in the back out food were missing from the order, the manager did not even come out to the table to apologize this place is a racial place reason being why I said he’s racial he never once came over to our table, but I seen him go to other tables greeting the customer interacting with the customer while we were sitting on the back patio a server close partially the door because there was a guest that was sitting inside.that claim the sun was Bothering them, they didn’t even put the fan on the fan was off. We have to ask for the fan to be put on we spent 900 hondred dollars that nite this review made a lot of ppl mad but I don’t care what’s wrong is wrong and what’s right is right we’re not dogs and even dogs get treated....

Benny’s on the Beach is amazing! It’s so good, they needed to open a second location right on the same beach - the Oceanwalk location is the newer one! We went here for lunch for the first time yesterday, and the minute we walked in and saw that Gordon Ramsay amongst many other well-known people have visited, we knew it would be good. We were right!!

We got: Crispy Cauliflower, Fresh Conch Fritters, Colossal Calamari, Crab Cake Sammy, Lobster Dip, and Palm Beach Tacos. Everything was super good! The only thing that could’ve been improved was the conch fritters (in our opinion) - still really good, but not as good as conch fritters we’ve had in Bahamas and some other places. The calamari was incredible though, and the crispy cauliflower was absolutely fantastic! Best cauliflower I’ve ever had…and I don’t even like cauliflower! How is it that they can make it taste so good?!

For entrees, the Palm Beach Tacos were unique, fresh, and excellent, the Crab Cake Sammy was a huge, flavorful crab cake sandwich that really hit the spot, and the star of the show was the Lobster Dip. Imagine a French Dip, but with 6 ounces of lobster! It was so fresh and they gave you a big thing of melted butter you could dip the whole sandwich in so it was just a mouthful of lobster/buttery goodness! I would literally have that lobster dip every single day - it was my favorite lobster roll I’ve ever had. I went to Benny’s Ocean Walk with my family to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it turned into an absolute nightmare! We used to love Benny's, but this experience was beyond appalling. First, they had the nerve to seat us at a filthy table, covered in leftover food all over the seats. We had to clean it up ourselves! Then, we were stuck with the worst waitress ever. She couldn’t care less about doing her job, probably because she knew she’d get her tip no matter what. Her attitude was atrocious. When my father-in-law had a problem with his meal, she was nowhere to be found. By the time she wandered back, she just asked if we wanted boxes. The food was cold and inedible, and she didn’t even apologize! She disappeared again for 15 minutes, leaving us high and dry. When she finally showed up, she offered us dessert, but we were done. We wanted out! She informed us the manager refunded my father-in-law's meal, but the manager didn't even bother to come over and apologize or make things right. To top it off, we waited another 10 minutes for the check, and she was impatiently hovering, rudely snatching my mother-in-law’s card. She didn’t even provide the texted receipt as requested.
