I have been here a couple of times before, and Panda Buffet's food is good for the price you pay. My only complaints are I felt like I was being forced to leave, more on that later, and there were a lot of flies where we sat.
Location: The location is easy enough to find. I didn't encounter any solicitors, and there were ample parking -- it's located in a strip with other shops.
Price: The price you pay for the food you get is good, more so average. There weren't many seafood, but for the price, you get the typical Chinese buffet you're looking for.
Food: Like the typical Chinese buffet, there were several food. It was quite obvious that some of the seafood wasn't fresh, but that's the case for most buffets. It was a bit unappetizing because I noticed flies flying around -- they were also hidden behind the window blinds. Other than those details and concerns, the food was quite tasty.
Customer Service: It may have just been my waitress (because I noticed she did the same thing to other customers as well), but the treatment I received was quite odd. I have no complaints about her timely manner when picking up our finished plates or refilling our drinks -- it's more of how she directly treated us (my friends and I). While we were still eating, we were handed the check to pay -- I guess I can understand this happening when it is busy, but the buffet wasn't busy at all. In addition to this, as she handed us our receipt to sign, she said, "Make sure you leave a good tip." As odd as it was, I believe it was scripted primarily because she repeated the same thing to everyone else, which is fine... but odd.
Overall, I would return again when I'm craving a lot of Chinese food. I may not go for their sushi because that was bland -- other food tasted just like any other Chinese...

The waitress we had yesterday brought our check when we weren't even half way done. She kept coming around asking me when I was going to pay but would not get me a refill of tea when I asked. Its not like the place was even busy. There were maybe five other tables occupied When we were there. When I did pay (with card) she brought me the receipt to sign, I waited because the others I was with were not finished eating, she stood over my shoulder and kept scooting the little tray towards me. After she saw that I didn't write in a tip, I prefer to leave cash tips, she walked off. But, she kept coming back and picking up and putting down the little receipt tray in front of me. When she saw I wasn't paying attention to her, she mumbled and picked up the tray and placed it in front of another person I was with and repeated what she was doing to me. I guess she got overly frustrated that the other person wasn't going to put anything and once again placed it in front of me. When I was getting my children up from the table she blocked me in and kept saying I HAD to leave a tip. The woman wouldn't move to the side so that we could leave. I had to ask her more than twice to move. And even then she kept saying "where my tip my profina?". I regret ever going there and we will not...
Read moreWe were seated in a timely manner. Made a plate and sat down to eat, and that's where the problems began. Fork wrapped in napkin was dirty. There was dried crusty food stuck to the fork. I asked for another one and was told they are over by the ice cream. Ok. I'll get my own. The food- cold, tasted old, seemed to be left in warmers for a while. Chicken was tough and tasteless. The shrimp was over cooked and cold as well. After a couple of bites, I pushed the plate away. Waitress asked if everything was good, I told her no, the food was old and cold. She walked away. 3-rice and lo mein- the rice was room temperature and tasteless and whatever sauce they put in the lo mein was sour tasting, and again, room temperature at best. So, after a couple more bites, pushed the plate away again full of food I could not eat. I went back to graze for something that looked fresh and hot and the best option was the teriyaki beef. It was tender and tasted very good. The waitress knew there was a problem and did nothing to resolve the issue. I didn't mind paying, but the food should have been tossed and replaced. Fried shrimp and chicken shouldn't be cold and tough. It's a shame this place has gone downhill. It used to be very good and always crowded. Now I know why it's not anymore!!
Do better...
