TL;DR - Check for roaches, broken items, and inoperable AC. Probably missed other stuff, but needed to get some sleep. Set the scene - this is a BRAND NEW hotel completed within the last 3-6 months. Room 1 (203) - Arrived short notice and was given a room. Desk attendent Sanjay was nice and polite. Went to the first room to find a roach on the wall. Went down and requested/was given another room. Room 2 (209) - Inspected room before moving. Toilet seat unsecured (possible hazard from falling when sitting) but no roaches so we moved our stuff. After 50 minutes, the air had cooled the room from 82 to a blissful 80 degrees. Sweating and balmy, I went down abd requested another room. In disbelief, Sanjay asked if he could check the AC, so I invited him to do so. Upon coming in our room, he did see that the AC was not working and showed me another room. The door..... The door hinge was UNGODLY loud and surely disruptive to rooms side to side, above, and below. A video is provided, but I wasn't concerned with even locking the door because we would be altered with the slightest door movement. Also, this room is at the very end of the hallway which is extremely stuffy. Further up around 203 there is good, cool airflow. Room 3 (207) - Upon showing this room, there was ANOTHER roach at the door. When I pointed it out in amusement, it was quickly smushed and dragged across the floor as if it were not an issue. Additionally, the interior light switch didn't turn on/off a light, but everything else seemed OK. Sanjay provided the key, set the AC to on and asked me to check it in 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the room cooled from 82 to 76, so despite the roach and light, we switched rooms. At this point I felt hopeless that we would he provided a good room, so I kept my mouth shut about the roach and we moved rooms. After this, everything was OK and we were able to get sleep. The AC performed throughout the night without issue. Overall, it's a hotel. Sadly Motel 6 is becoming an Uber-low quality chain and this isn't the first time I've had an issue. But for a quick, cheap stay, it was acceptable. Beds were not excessively uncomfortable, desk or staff was not rude, location isn't the best or worst, but the bugs could definitely be controlled along with not keeping rooms at 82 when guests are not in them. Nobody wants to walk into a hotel room that is 82 and wait for it to become comfortable. This experience has been forwarded to Motel6 corporate for review.

I’m leaving 1star since I can’t leave a zero review. Being that it’s a new hotel it wasn’t bad however the management is terrible!!! Very rude, condescending, hateful, screams at guests, and doesn’t address things left in the bathroom that weren’t there when left. Tells me I can check out if I want and that I did it since they don’t give out our room key. Homeless people everywhere and very hostile environment with staff. They constantly watch you like you’re gonna steal something like there is something in those tiny rooms to steal anyway. Long story short if you want someone in your room that isn’t supposed to be that leaves razors, to be accused of things you didn’t do and screamed at by the person getting rich off all of us…. Visit them. However I highly advise NOT TO VISIT this location between the homeless and the lack of care or concern for guests. I told manger that I was going to call the police and post bad reviews and he screamed at me and told to go ahead. So I guess this is really by request of the manager. (I packaged these since I didn’t know if they were laced or who or where they came from)

I feel safe here! Our stays at Motel 6 in Lake Worth, Texas, are always pleasant and receive five stars in this price range compared to the "shady" motels down the road. The rooms are clean; the heat and air are thermostat-controlled, and multiple USB charging ports at each bedside. There are restaurants, gas stations, a liquor store, and a city bus stop within a short walking distance. The rooms are Interior entry with an electric swipe key, Parking is well lit and multiple security cameras ( you can see the multi-scren feed smartly mounted at the front desk make this our top choice for it's safety. Tip: Spend the little extra for a room with a kitchenette, store food in the mini-fridge to save on a night out.

Kamal was amazing and very nice, AJ was nice and at first and then he put me and my kids out during a hard situation I am very disappointed in that and he threat to call the police on my family that didnt do anything wrong we didn’t let them clean our room for a couple days and got threatened, and AJ was always knocking on our door making it very uncomfortable, but this didnt happen until I went to work, give on take the front desk is great it’s just the change in AJ was very uncomfortable and disappointing, if you in a hard situation just find another place to go, and it was one housekeeper that was skinny and unpleasant she told my daughter y’all have to take your own trash I said wow. This was a learning experience with people, they don’t Care about your situation , “””Kamal you are amazing and I pray you see this, you were so kind, generous, and a real person with my family when I come back I have a gift for you thank you from our...
