It’s Friday at 3:32pm and I went online to my local Dominoes that is literally 5.2 miles down the road from my house and I have definitely ordered from them several times before. I moved here in Nov. 2023 and this is the only place I have ever ordered from and today I went online, placed my order and paid. By 4pm I’m getting a call from the Madison who is the Manager, informing me very rudely that my card was declined and didn’t have “in-SUG-fenent” funds! Ummm… what are we talking about here? Insufficient Funds??? And how is that??? She reads back the wrong zip code to my card. We have to go through getting that straightened out. But as soon as she finds out my zip code her rudeness gets worse and she says (AFTER TAKING PAYMENT) That they WILL NOT deliver to my zip code…. Why not? You have on several occasions. Her explanation is that it is Corporates job to update the website and it’s not her fault that I was able to order and she will NOT send a driver 20-30 min out to deliver to my house. Ummm again, I am 5.3 miles down the road and it does not take that long to get to my house. But she says, “Look, I’m just the manager and I just work here! It’s not my job to update the system so you people know not to order!”. What people do you mean? (I’m thinking!!!) but I say again to her I’ve ordered and never had an issue and I ask for her manager. It was pulling teeth to get a name and she immediately barked out that she was not giving me her schedule or number. Well, I had not asked for all that. I did ask when would be the best time to call and I asked for Corporates number. Again, she responded short and rudely to me. I could not believe the lack of customer service considering I was not rude to her. I could have and been well within rights given the fact that NOW I have to wait 3-5 business days to get a refund but I stayed calm attempting to get a Manager that is apparently above her pay grade as she attempted to convey she was ill equipped for handling anything other than orders and being a horrible customer care representative of her company! I can’t believe how rude people can be and how short tempered people are. What happened to customer service? I’m hoping someone will respond to me and handle the job...
Read moreI was very disappointed, I believe since it is during the coronavirus, they now are taking the customers for granite. When I try to speak to the customer service online, it was a forest, there’s no need to waste your time.
Here’s what happened, I ordered online, the corporate site said I could use a previous order. On my previous order I did not order peppers nor onions on the sandwich. It came with peppers. When I called the store, and spoke to the manager. He asked me to leave your sandwich outside, this I did not mind, since I’m allergic to the ingredients. But I must say I was somewhat surprised, it did made me feel a little like they were questioning my integrity.
Anyway they did get me a new item back to me as soon as possible.
The only other thing that did disturb me, was it was not fully a contactless delivery.
When answering the door, the person did have a maskon, but they were holding the pizza. Normally they place a box underneath the item, and back away till you come to the door.
The delivery driver how ever was very curious.
I just felt it could’ve been better service for the over $50 it cost me.
The franchise owner is Mack Pearson, he has many stores, when I was a young man I worked for him. So I know the business pretty well, I think in the future I’m just going to shop around and see if I can find someone who will not take me for granite, and has a better online customer service program, Without trying to make you jump...
Read moreAfter almost a decade of positive experiences with this location, we had an absolutely horrible and inexcusable experience this evening.
We placed an order around 6:30. They fired the pizzas around 7 according to their tracker). At 7:30 I called to voice my concern over the fact that they had prepared pizzas that we're going to be sitting for a minimum of 45 minutes before being delivered. I was assured by the representative that the pizza would be hot upon delivery. A little bit after 8:00 the pizzas were delivered... COLD.
I Called back and no one picked up the phone. At 9:30 I called again and spoke with the manager. He actually hung up on me.... because I said I wanted a partial refund . He told me the only way he could issue a refund is if I return the order. When I pressed him on this, he hung up.
Nobody at this location understands customer service Totally unacceptable for a national chain. I will think twice before ordering again. Beware, this store is being managed by people who don't know what they're doing and do not understand basic...
