Cinco De Mayo Grocery & Deli — Restaurant in Lakehurst

Absolutely amazing little shop that feels like HOME! Customer service is 100/100 and even more! Their tamales are AMAZING! But what really made me write this review was I was driving around town looking for whole milk for my daughter tonight and realized they had closed three minutes prior to me trying to get there on time and I called and asked them if they had any milk and if they would be willing to stay open for two more minutes until I arrived, which of course they could’ve said no or not even answer and that would’ve been on me but the sweet lady at the counter had taken the milk out for me to be ready on the counter for me to pick up and pay for it and for that I will FOREVER BE GRATEFUL FOR! I will literally drive here just to get my drinks and a bag of chips before I go to Lucky 7 or even Dollar General! Truly made me tear up the generosity the people that run this store...

Anyone that does not give this place five stars is crazy… Anytime I'm in the area and I need food because I'm on the road a lot for work… I always stop here because I love the tacos comes with the double corn tortilla wrap with the lime and onion, and all the best fixings. I've gotten other food from here and everything is delicious. Also, they have the coconut milk drinks the different flavors with the fruit floating around in it and desserts. Five stars all day long.
