Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Lakeland

Realistically I wish I could give Zero stars. Next time I want a pizza buffet I'll drive myself and my to Naples for Stevie B's. My experience tonight 2/22/19 was just awful. The place was fairly busy and seemed like the crew was well staffed so I don't understand why they weren't able to keep the pizza stocked. Every time I went to get pizza there were MAYBE 4 options to choose from and that's being generous. How does a PIZZA BUFFET run out of pizza?? The pizza I was able to eat was very dry and bland. So.. Given that there was almost no pizza I decided to order some boneless wings for myself. Took about 8 minutes to finally order them. The cashier was on the phone at the counter when I approached. He didn't acknowledge that I was waiting or that I needed assistance. Can't understand why he didn't ask any of the other employees to assist me. He eventually walks away to give the phone to the manager and on his way back to the register he decided to stop and have a whole conversation with his coworkers about his phone call. He made eye contact with me so I know he was ignoring me. Ordered my wings around 7:30 and by 7:55 I still didn't had my wings. By this time I'm irritated. I walk up the the counter with receipt in hand and ask about my order only to be told my food has been sitting back there for about 15 minutes. Did nobody think to notify me considering I ALREADY PAID FOR IT!? When the manager finally came to me, he didn't know what to do or how to give me a refund. He's the boss. WTF? He had to call the GM who had to walk him through the refund process. I 100% will not be back to a CiCis Pizza buffet for as long as I...

I took my kids for the first time and it was a blast! They loved the buffet and really liked the apple streusel. There was a woman walking around offering balloon animals and taking tips... The kids loved it and it was a nice surprise.

The arcade is very affordable. For $5 you can get 25 points for games and each game we did was either 5-6.5 points... They played for about 20 minutes and also got some prizes from claw machines. Overall, I spent about $20 on two game cards, which I thought was affordable.

Aside from my buffet, I ordered 5 boneless wings. It was busy and I waited about 30 minutes for them to call my name, which was twice the time they told me. I'm not upset about it, however. I asked for a side of another sauce to go with them and they were quick to give it to me. They were tasty wings, too.

The salad buffet is pretty good too, depending on what you prefer. If you like a salad with meat, no, but if you like a lot of veggies, it's great. It was my first time trying beets, and I found out that I like them.

The atmosphere was 100% rowdy family friendly/fun. I cannot complain. The workers in the kitchen seemed stressed, but ok.

This restaurant is considered wheelchair accessible, but with it so busy and many kids, adults and workers walking around, it may be troublesome...

I had been telling my daughter about the wonderful world of Cicis pizza for some time, so decided to stop here for lunch so she could experience it for herself. To echo the other reviewers, I was blown away by Victor and his staff. Victor genuinely has a gift to make everyone that walks in the door feel welcome. We walked in and he said "welcome, family" and struck up a conversation with my daughter asking her what her favorite pizza was and offered to make whatever she wanted. I then observed how Victor would walk around to every table tomake sure that everyone was doing good. The staff was constantly cleaning surfaces, and offering to take our plates. They legitimately treat this like an upscale dining experience. Victor even stopped by and gave my daughter some tokens so that she could play arcade games.

Cicis pizza is generally just a place you go to when you want cheap pizza to fill you up, but the customer service here makes it so much more.

I even let Victor know that he was famous on Google reviews, and his response was that he has an amazing team and he couldn't do it without them.

If I was in management, I would come here just to watch how Victor runs his business. If I was in management at Cicis, I would promote Victor as quickly...
