I’m visiting family in tampa out of Oregon for Memorial Day weekend and me and my cousin had spoke about getting a tattoo together. We walked in Memorial Day and immediately were treated like family it was comfortable Terrie the artist made great suggestions after it turned out we wouldn’t have time to complete the tattoos we initially wanted not on any fault of them I fly back out first thing Tuesday morning and finishing 2 tattoos of that size to the quality she wanted to give us was just looking like a 2 day ordeal. If you’re looking for a new tattoo shop to see some new ink meet some good people and you enjoy tattoos I think this place is a no brainer. I normally don’t write reviews don’t rate places but I had to here couldn’t have had a better time being tattooed by a stranger I had just meet although it never felt like we were strangers we were welcome the second we stepped in the door. I don’t know where to begin! Let me just start by saying, the service here at Stars and Stripes Tattoos is absolutely fantastic. My sister and I decided we’d go and get our very first tattoo and after some research we found this place near us! Picking this place truly did NOT disappoint. Terrie, our artist was absolutely incredible… we truly recommend her. Her customer service and overall just her genuine self was amazing and so comforting to be around! She used her creativity. Giving us the perfect first tattoo… Terrie worked and helped us achieve a simple beautiful tattoo with so much meaning in our preferred price range! As an lgbtq+ person in this stereotypical world I felt very comfortable walking through these doors I have never walked through before.I had a great day meeting the owner of this shop and getting a tattoo by him. He is funny as hell and has some of the craziest stories a person could tell, And will make sure you are fed before he starts working on you which is very nice. The place is very clean and smells like a hospital and you will definitely feel like your tattoo is what you wanted.
