Just as previous customers have stated, Steve is an utter disgrace of an employee. I've been to this location for Amazon returns on several occasions but I will never go back there again after the ridiculous way I was approached and berated by Steve. I came in and followed the very large dots that clearly state and direct you, on the floor pointing towards the register for Amazon returns. While I did that and waited in the line for about 10 mins Steve stood crossed arms at the front of the store micromanaging the cashiers and staring down customers. When I finally got to the front of the line, he started barked orders at me like I was on his payroll when all I went there for was to make a simple return. Apparently Steve cannot stop staring at customer's posteriors as they walk in, long enough to actually direct customers in a helpful manner to where they need to go. Then when he notices you stood in the "wrong" line long enough he'll berate you like an unhinged employee, and then have the audacity to get upset when you tell him he could use some respect when he's speaking to customers. I had a yelling match with this ignorant fool in broad daylight over an Amazon return because of his ridiculous attitude. He was also upset when I suggest he get on a register and start working instead of hovering over working employees and yelling at customers. The least he could do is scrape up those stupid stickers that clearly direct customers to a register since he's gna stand there for an opportunity to try to...
Read moreIf I could give a zero star I would. Very unimpressed with the last visit!!! I do not believe it is a customer friendly store. My experience: I entered the store with my two grandchildren to place a return for Amazon. It was not in a package as it was not needed according to Amazon. My screen had gone dark on my phone and I had to pull up the information again which I told the cashier. She said okay and started putting my package into a bag. As I was pulling up my information, another lady who was taping boxes getting them ready to be used, said, "will you please (sarcastically emphasized)help her do the packaging as she is not supposed to be doing it". The please and the tone of voice was sarcastic, short and rude. I informed her that I was pulling up the information and the cashier did not inform me that I was supposed to be putting the package into the plastic shipping bag. I finish the transaction and ask the other lady her name. A man approached and said can I help you. I told him all that had happened and the lady replied, " I said please! " With another attitude. The GM whose name is Steve, said, " I'm sorry that you took it that way", in a defensive voice. I asked for her name and he said, " no!". I then look to see her name tag and he blocked me and told me to leave the store. I said, " I was going to leave a review." He said, " go ahead leave it" and I left. So sad that the customer service was so poor and how this situation was handled. Now, you have...
Read moreI frequently visit the Staples on the North side of Lakeland and I have nothing but wonderful experiences there. However the South Lakeland location is a joke. When you walk in there is no greeting or help guiding your experience. After several minutes of trying to figure out where to print out PDF files we approached a counter and a young lady began to help us. We were printing files bought off of Etsy for an upcoming bridal shower. One of the files was a game with the names of Disney movies on one side and the song that matches the movie on the other. There were absolutely NO trademarks (pictures, fonts, etc) that represented Disney, it was only the names of the movies. A very RUDE gentleman who worked there came up behind the girl helping us and told us that we could not print that paper due to copyright laws. I asked why since there were no pictures or fonts matching Disney and he stated that they aren’t allowed to print the names of Disney movies period. The kicker was we were allowed to use the printer in store to print the pdf file, but they couldn’t print it behind the counter. It made absolutely 0 sense. Moral of this post don’t go to the South Lakeland Staples and don’t name your kids Mulan, Elsa, Hercules or Tarzan as all of these names are apparently owned by Disney and can NOT be...
