Doc & Sheree's Pizza Pub — Restaurant in Lakeland

This restaurant occupies the site of what was previously The British Chippie. Although the quarters are small, I found the interior clean, updated and more than presentable. The lighting is subdued and the atmosphere is mellow - very pleasant qualities to find in a local eatery in Lakeland. Sheree herself took my order and she was friendly, professional and quick. When I asked for paper take-away menus, she directed me to the restaurant's Facebook and Google pages for access to their menu items, which is a brilliant, low-cost and on-trend alternative. The total cost of a large pepperoni/mushroom pizza and a hamburger platter were surprisingly nominal at just under $20. My 21-year old daughter, our resident pizza connoisseur, said the pizza was "okay" which, in Millennial parlance means: "Quite excellent fare, Mother." She did remark that she would have liked a bit more sauce but it was delicious nonetheless. I believe her because half the pie disappeared almost immediately, which wouldn't have happened had it been sub-par. She also loved that the pie size and slices were close to the NYC standard that I was raised on. My hamburger and crinkle cut fries were garnished with crisp lettuce leaf, generously thick slices of fresh tomato and onion, as well as crispy dill pickle spears and slices. The hamburger meat was flavored well, the burger was juicy and the bun was fresh. The fries were crispy, hot and not a bit greasy. All in all, it was good food and a nice experience. Another rarity in Lakeland is that Doc & Sheree's serves alcohol! Although the bar area is small, it is well stocked and clean, and I noticed that they have beer on draft as well as wine! We'll go back for more especially because I would like to try their wine selection with my next meal. Great job grubbing us up on an otherwise uneventful Thursday...

I've been here twice now within the same week. I love pizza and before I did a search for pizza in Lakeland, Ga. I had to drive 15 miles to Nashville, Ga. To go to Pizza Hut, But after finding Doc & Sherree's Pizza, I ordered my favorite pizza with extra cheese on it. Upon entering their store, I found it to be very cozy and clean inside. The people who worked there were very nice and accommodating. After getting home with my pizza my take out pizza order, I was more than impressed with my purchase, as had ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza with extra cheese ( times 4) . I got what I paid for if not More ! The pizza is Far Better than you can buy at Any company chain store. The pizza sauce is very rich and tastes very good and their crust is crisp and not burnt or over cooked. I highly recommend this establishment whether you want a excellent pizza or you want to come in for family dining to try one of their many home cooked meals that they serve here as well. They also have a cozy pub area as well. I highly recommend any and everyone, regardless of the occasion, to try this this new restaurant here in Lakeland, for excellent food, drink and service, with a real smile in their Voices and the best part of all, They have Very reasonable pricing on all of...

We went early on a Saturday night, they just opened. It's not much to look at from the outside, but it's a normal looking restaurant on the inside. The Oak St entrance leads to the restaurant seated area and the parking lot/south entrance leads to take-out and pub seating. We were first diners in seated area, and got control of the TV remote (and turned to sports). We both ordered our own pizza....a hand tossed supreme no mushrooms for me and a thin crust two meat pepperoni and sausage for hubby. Both were great. We will definately be back for more pizza. They provided garlic knots with red sauce to hold us over until the pizzas were out. They were a bit tough....maybe yesterday's reheated? Nothing to write home about. But the pizza will keep us coming back and trying other menu items. Service was great....very attentive and professional, especially considering one person was serving both sides.
