Hole In One Donuts — Restaurant in Lakeland

My mother and I visited this Donut shop two weekends ago and If I could give them 0 stars, I would. The 1 star is because the Guava filled donut was on point!! Besides the delicious donuts, I was taken back at their TERRIBLE customer service. When we walked up to order, the owner told me mother to stand back, she was standing at about the same distance than the other customers - then My mother asked for a box, he walked (more like stomped) into the kitchen and left us standing there for over 4 mins, wondering if he still would help us. I asked for the small donut holes, he responded that they come in a dozen with a nasty attitude. My mother then wanted (2) glazed donuts from the fresh batch and he huffed because she told him she did not want the (2) donuts that were sperate from the others.

Upon checkout, I asked him if he put the donut holes in, He did not even respond, opened the box - & instead he gave me the large filled ones. When I told him they were the wrong, he got loud and told me that "he knew what I said, that I did not ask for the small ones, he would know, he is the owner". I already have enough of his attitude at this point, therefore I told him we would just pay them, that I did not want the holes anymore.

Upon paying, he literally grabbed the card machine away from my mother so hard that she had to yank her card away because he would have pulled her hand with the card.. That is when I said "Why do you have to be like that..." and he cut me off stating that he had been working all morning and he is the owner. He then proceeded to click every button on the credit card machine and not even give him a tip. I wouldn't have but I still thought he was excessively rude for not reason!

Honestly, the guava filled donut was delicious but not good enough for me to come back. Please, Work on your customer...

Honestly if I could give this place a 0 I would! The lady that works there is extremely rude! We get our guys breakfast every morning for the shop… we told them we had a few separate orders before we even placed our order and they over charged us. We were trying to understand the way they charged us, we were missing one donut! Instead of helping us with this matter as her son says they had a bunch of orders I got a little confused she says to us “ well it’s because you come in here with a bunch of different orders and pay separately “ like it was an inconvenience for her! So I asked her is this an inconvenience for you as she tried to embarrass us talking to us the way she did in front of other customers. She continued to argue with us in front of a line full of people. This isn’t the first time she’s been rude to us!

We will not be going back here! We will spend our money elsewhere some place that appreciates our business and is nice to...

I have been living in lakeland for 28 years and this was my to go place for donuts or breakfast combo but things have change in quality and quantity ( I have boys so we are always looking for quantity, they eat a lot ) so We usually get the combo with a croissant, drink and donut holes bag for each combo ( that used to be more than enough per person and it was nice to see what kind of flavors you were getting g in your bag. They didn't use to count them, or if they did, the donut holes were a lot more. Now they tell you they give you 6 because that equals to a donut ( a small donut, right?) Anyways the donut holes have an after taste like the donuts and im sorry they dont taste fresh anymore, after so many years it's sad to say we are not going back, we spent a lot of money with you guys through the years and we were happy to do it because everything was great.
