A few things have to be said here… I waited in front of the counter to be acknowledged as a customer for 10 minutes. There were several other customers who had already ordered waiting as well, so I may have blended in with the masses, but honestly, there were only 4 persons standing, waiting. I took pictures, video of the young employees who were behind the counter, yet failed to acknowledge me, and the two male employees pictured were doing absolutely nothing except breathing in valuable air with no return for effort. The two female employees were busy with trying to assemble their orders, conducting quality checks, replenishing various supplies like bags, etc. Doing their job, would suffice to say. The two males, however, project no enthusiasm or abilities that would constitute an attempt made at providing customer service. After the time lapsed, and the other customers all asking me about my lack of service from the employees, the manager approached me and asked if I was waiting on something. Granted, he was observed while cleaning ice cream or custard equipment, so I did not expect him to have to help me, so explained that I had waited for 10 minutes to be acknowledged or asked if I would like to order food, and explained that evaluate restaurants for food quality, service, and write food reviews for a living. Tyler comped the meal for the issues explained above, and so now I have to write this review with the knowledge that management will not tolerate anything less than customers being satisfied. I am grateful for the hot food after a long day on the road, chose to seek out, eat at a Culver’s because they come highly recommended. The crinkle cut french fries were lightly salted, not over-salted, hot, not oily. The peanut butter shake was thick, smooth, and tasty, yet not over-powering. The bacon cheeseburger was perfect, hot, freshly cooked. The restaurant needs updating, thorough cleaning, especially in the customer areas. The men’s restroom was...
Read moreOrdered online and showed up to restaurant at time stated. Clicked "here" on website, waited 5 minutes and did the same on the email and another 5 minutes did the same vis text. At 20 minutes past scheduled time (I know these aren't accurate, but 20 minutes is quite a bit off) I finally shut off my truck after burning through a few dollars in diesel and went inside assuming they were just behind, even though parking lot was half full and drive thru was typical non rush hour line. Waited a few more minutes behind those in front of me and asked about my order. They said it's been ready for awhile and handed it off to me from the prep counter. Restaurant was about a quarter full and they had 4-5 people running counter and drive thru. I saw them deliver another order to a truck just after I showed up. Got home and food was like warm and custard was melting pretty good. Not sure why it was never brought out, but since it sat there so long, they could have offered to remake it so I had hit food and frozen custard. I would think they'd have an alarm ringing every minute they are behind delivering curbside. I get that mistakes happen and will never hold someone accountable for an honest mistake, but what I don't appreciate is the unwillingness to correct it, especially as expensive as food is right now. Time was just a little after 1pm on a Saturday 10/5/24 and honestly was surprised it wasn't packed as it was a beautiful warm day and likely the last warm day...
Read moreI have been coming here for years. Each time I easily spend $80.00 to feed my family of Six when we decide to eat out (About once a week). I always order a 8 piece tender for the kids and culvers is always trying to rip a customer off by over charging for dipping sauces. When a customer orders a 4 - piece tender, they get two (2) dipping sauces. Culvers tries to say that when a customer orders an 8 piece tender, they are only allowed three (3) dipping sauces before they start to charge you for the extra sauce. Common sense would tell you that if they give 2 dipping sauces for a 4- piece tender, then an 8 piece tender would get 4 sauces. Well tonight the shift manger tried to tell me that they only give 1 dipping sauce per 4 piece tender and only 2 dipping sauces for an 8 piece tender. He was trying to charge me for the additional amount of sauce's that I always get. This is not about the money as it is about the principle of the over charging me and other customers. I have been coming here for years and I will no longer be a customer of this franchise location. The shift manager would rather try to get me for $2.00 and have the cost of the food I order go into the garbage and then loose my business for good. I hope that $2.00 in dipping sauces, is worth loosing thousands of dollars from a customer that will not...
