First off, your staffing is horrible. This is a corporate or franchise problem, not an employee issue. I have lived in lakeway for over 2 years. Maybe 1x I have had a good experience here. Why do I go then? Idk. Because Iām a normal American that likes Taco Bell sometimes. Do I want to apply for a job at Taco Bell? No. I was an RGM at a taco bell for 6 years before I became a nurse. YUM! brands ...You need to send your corporate crew to this location and get to work. Your staff doesnāt wrap or package properly, weights are surely incorrect, food is not spread evenly in wrapped burritos, beef on one end, and so in and so forth. 10 items inside of one medium sized brown bag, not including sauce and packets. Chicken quesadilla is not cut all the way, and cut incorrectly, and the chicken is old, crusty and not the right amount for sure. I ordered chalupas and the grease was on every item wrapped. Yes chalupas are greasy, but how many items go in a bag? I can see the hand print, not grease, but Now, like my t items are smooshed by whoever is putting them in the bag. It just look a really not YUm! Brand. If you were getting shopped. Eww how embarrassing. But!! everything I ordered was there, and it doesnāt taste bad once I re-wrapped my burritos etc. . But šÆ youāre failing a core audit, without a doubt. Iām wondering in 2+ years if youāve ever had a green audit? I see youāre hiring online, so I feel bad for staff. I know this area, people arenāt very friendly. And almost certainly they are getting treated poorly, which is the only reason I donāt call to complain, because I feel bad for them. I go through the drive through, after working long hours - and online page says one time for operation and go through drive through and staff says āsorry we are closed, āan hour and 15 minutes before closing, and you see cars just driving through as you lose $$. Inconsistent hours of a restaurant is the biggest cause to losing customers. Your hourly employees do not care at all about lost money. And youāre surely wasting product by not being consistent. Sure, thereās still customers - itās Taco Bell. But I canāt tell you how many times Iāve chosen gas station tacos over the bell in the past 2 years, or went to a different location to ensure I got what I was craving. One time, the staff said to my kid - cant order a queserito because itās online only. So youāre wanting to promote your online orders I get that, but youāre telling your customers no? Thatās not something I did as a successful RGM. Or AGM. Hell, I was a shift lead working as the only manager rolling out breakfast because we had no salaries managers. Short staffed, still had to stay open and honor our hours. Have a business to run! And breakfast to roll out!! Yes itās a pandemic, but if tiny children can go to school everyday regularly, and every other restaurant seems to have normal business hours in lakeway as posted, I think you guys can. And you need to go to the lakeway location and handle your YUM! brand. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk. And Iām sorry if youāre a manager or staff reading this at this location. My food tasted good, but youāre out Baja blast syrup, so you may wanna change the box. Keep up the good work. šP.S. this is the only bad review I have ever left on my google account. I donāt Karen people. Likeeee omg. I just wanna go to Taco Bell and get a beautifully wrapped burrito packaged correctly with fresh products, evenly spread and served without a bunch of lame issues that ruins my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf you want to deal with rude, incompetent, and aggressive staff when ordering lunch, while also not receiving the items that you paid for, look no further. But be warned, they will call you a liar and try to gaslight you when you ask for the mistake to be corrected.
I'm not sure what training is required to move into a lead role inside of any given Taco Bell, but the current requirements are certainly lacking given the overall incompetent, aggressive, and extremely rude drive through supervisors that they currently have employed. It is obviously far too much to expect that the bare minimum is done on their teams end to ensure that the purchased food is put into the bag. It is absolutely my fault for trusting that this one part of their job can be done even 50% of the time, since it is almost every single time I order here that items are missing. This last time in particular was the most ridiculous and downright offensive of them all. I ordered, received my bag of food (I should have checked to ensure all items were accounted for, my mistake for trusting a simple task to be completed), and I drove home. Not surprisingly, and entire meal was missing out of the four that were ordered. I returned to this location where I spoke with a woman about my missing food, she proceeded to then walk away to speak with another younger woman at the drive through, only to return and flat out call me a liar to my face. Saying that she knows that I received the meal because the young woman at the window said she made sure it was in the bag. She then continued saying that even though she knows that I am lying, she's going to give me the food anyway even though she shouldn't. What an absolute class act, there obviously no chance that the young woman was lying to protect her job, which is understandable. However, I do not appreciate being called a liar to my face, especially when nearly every attempt to order food at this location ends the same way. Missing items. Obviously everyone has bad days, but this was absolutely ridiculous and there is a recurring theme of incompetence and aggression towards customers who ask for what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I go to Taco Bell, I try to make sure I go to the Lakeway location. Itās clean and the employees are nice. On my most recent visit, I went inside this time and used the touch screen to order. It definitely helps. I had no idea they had jalapeƱos to add. I could take my time and exchange what I wanted and add more of something without feeling rushed. I set up our order and waited. I did notice thereās no hair nets in Taco Bell and it did worry me because while the girls had their hair pulled back, it was falling out of the pony tail holder. Some were playing around in the back and people were standing in the front waiting to order. Our order took about 10 minutes to get, no drinks handed to us until I went back over to ask. They did double up in our order. I suppose it was done as an apology for the wait. However, they were busy. Their drive thru began to get really busy around 3:30. Once the manager came back out to work with them, they began hustling faster. The food was good and I loved the options. Nice people...
