Coco's Lip Smacking Cupcakes — Restaurant in Lakewood

This place doesn’t have more five star reviews because it’s brand new. But when more people visit it, it’s going to blow up! My husband happened to be passing by Coco‘s on the way home last Saturday, and he stopped by and brought home a peach cobbler and four cupcakes. Two red velvet and two carrot cake. I was in heaven! Not only did the cupcakes look delicious, but the taste did not disappoint! Then coincidentally I was looking through my emails a while ago, and I noticed I hadn’t read the one I get from the city of Lakewood. That’s when I realized that Coco’s is a new business, and I read the backstory. So happy for you Coco! You have made your dream come true, and you are a very welcome addition to the Lakewood businesses. I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing that your business is so close. Who doesn't love cupcakes!? While out and about, I came across Coco’s Lip Smacking Cupcakes. The sign said it all for me and I had to check it out. When I entered, the space was very clean, organized, and just very appealing to the eye. The aesthetic was very cute and definitely my vibe. They offer a bunch of different yummies including cookies, cake, cobbler, and of course, cupcakes. The lady was very sweet and helpful. I went with a dozen cupcakes. I got a variety of different flavors. I got red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, cookies & cream, and a few others.

The way I was welcomed when I walked in, in addition to the candles burning and the overall feel of the place made me feel like I was visiting a good friend who loves baking. The welcome was warm and the woman who greeted me felt much like a sista-girl and not at all salesy.
