We are a Pollo Loco loving family, but new to this store. We won't be back.
Either they were severly understaffed, or the manager needs a refresher course. Let me make it clear that they were not busy. Only 3 tables were occupied. There was no line. We walked right up to the register. When we left, I only saw 3 cars in the drive through.
The condiments in this store are right at the counter. Yet the avocado salsa was empty. The counter in front of the condiments had bits of onion and cilantro from normal customer use. Right there at the counter. Nobody to wipe it with a rag?
Almost all of the tables were dirty. Again, nobody to wipe them with a rag? There was trash on the floor, under the tables. It looked as though nobody had swept since lunch.
In the bathroom, the grout in one corner, floor to ceiling, was black. It looked like some tiles by the sink were not grouted at all. I left the restroom with dripping hands--no paper towels.
I dont know if this is standard Pollo Loco practice, but it appeared that the cold grill was covered completely with already cooked chicken. I assume that's what they were serving. At other stores there has been a cook grilling the...

I come to this facility because it is healthy and very close to my work . But this facility seems to always always always be dirty (dine in) never clean and they always have quite a few workers at all times So why isn't it clean ????? .I wanted to ask a associate a question about one of there fountain drinks and she simply told me , I'm off the clock finding out her name (Stephanie) wearing a black Long Beach hoodie and being very very unprofessional. She could have simply said, I'm off the clock but let me get someone to help you. 👎Also the atmosphere in the cooking area can be heard from the dining room as they all are arguing and cussing up a storm as they do not take any consideration about family and children present close by. That being said it would be nice to hear back from the manager or response on how they plan to fix this problem..But to be honest I highly doubt...
Read moreOn Sunday 11.22.20 around 12:30pm I went through the drive thru. I ordered a special from my Pollo Loco rewards. Once I had placed my order I asked if she could add some plates and utensils for about 7 or 8 people I was buying this for another family to help them out and was beginning to ask if she could throw in some of each salsa when she cut me off and with a bit of annoyed tone said everything you need will be in the bag. Once i got up to the window I paid and asked if she had added red salsa she again said bothered everything is in the bag. So I drove off. Once I reached my destination to dropped off the food realized she didn't put red salsa and on top of that didn't even include the tortillas!!! Mashed potatoes looked old and dry too. I was so embarrassed and a bit upset. I don't have a lot of funds but if I choose to help someone out I would expect decent service and quality.
