MaMa's Pho is a hidden gem that has captured my heart and taste buds! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm and inviting ambiance, combined with the fast service and friendly wait staff, created a dining experience that was truly exceptional. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the broth. MaMa's Pho serves up the most delectable, aromatic, and flavorful broth I've ever had the pleasure of savoring. It's evident that they put a lot of love and care into simmering this liquid gold. The depth of flavor and richness in their broth is simply unparalleled, making every spoonful an absolute delight. You can taste the hours of dedication that go into crafting this masterpiece. But the goodness doesn't end there. The Steak Pho at MaMa's is nothing short of amazing. The thinly sliced, tender beef, perfectly cooked and seasoned, melts in your mouth as you savor each bite. Combined with the aromatic herbs, bean sprouts, and the delightful noodles, this dish is a symphony of flavors and textures that I can't get enough of. It's clear that MaMa's Pho takes pride in using high-quality ingredients to create a culinary masterpiece. What truly sets MaMa's Pho apart, though, is their exceptional service. The wait staff is not only efficient but also incredibly friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure that your dining experience is top-notch. It's this personal touch that makes me want to come back again and again. If you're in search of a dining experience that combines impeccable service with a broth that's out of this world and a Steak Pho that will leave you craving for more, look no further than MaMa's Pho. It's a five-star destination that deserves all the accolades it receives. I can't recommend it enough!

Ralph🤮Lauren! I’m going to start out by saying I think I was just singled out because they had good reviews which is why I came here. I tried to call in an order and I couldn’t really understand what the gentleman was asking me, then I got hung up on. So I called back, and a lady answered and took my order. When I arrived at the restaurant, I wasn’t greeted friendly at all! She says to me, “you’re the one that called?” Anyway, forget the 💩customer service. I don’t care if the food is good lol. When I got home and bit into my shrimp, I’ve never tasted a texture like that on shrimp before and honestly they look like they had been put through the ringer! I don’t know how else to describe them, but old. I asked for extra chili sauce and both of the containers she gave me were completely dried up. It was gross. Then the shrimp that was supposed to be for my pho wasn’t even cleaned… I ate the noodles and some of the beef and sprouts so I pretty much paid $30 for that and through the rest of the 🚮. I won’t be back. Also, they have a fish tank in the restaurant and it is extremely dirty. The water is yellow and thick! poor fish… Tip: the joint across the street that serves pho is way better!

My favorite Pho spot, I either get Pho or today I got the house special wonton soup with egg noodles, seasoned pork slices, shrimp and vegetables. Nice tasty broth and meats. I usually just put all the vegetables they serve with it on the dish and mix it up. The sprouts, leaves and chili. I highly recommend asking for the chili oil. Try eating it without the chili oil first and without adding the lime juice squeezed on it and enjoy that flavor. Then later if you want to change it and make it yummier, get a spoonful of soup and squeeze a drop of lime on it and taste it and if you like how it tastes then squeeze all the lime on your soup and mix it up. Do the same with the chili oil to see if you like how it tastes. I put about 3 teaspoons of chili oil on my soup, I like it spicy. The lime changes the soup and makes it more delicious in my opinion. The roll was also nice and crunchy. Overall I am satiated and satisfied, every time I come here the flavors are always spot on and consistent. The servers are also nice and bring out your food quickly. Give it a try :)

I had a mixed experience at MaMa’s Pho. I attempted to call ahead to place an order twice using the number listed on Google, but both calls went unanswered. Since I couldn’t get through, I decided to go in person to place my order. The service was initially smooth—I didn’t have to wait long to order, and I even showed the staff a list on my phone of exactly what I wanted to ensure there was no confusion. I pre-tipped 20%, expecting good service.

Unfortunately, I was mistaken in assuming everything was correct. After driving 15 minutes home, I realized that one of the two large pho I ordered was missing. I returned to the restaurant and showed the staff the same list from my phone, with a timestamp proving the order hadn’t been changed. Even though the staff acknowledged the mistake, I still had to pay for the missing pho, which felt frustrating. Given the situation, I would have appreciated if they had taken responsibility and offered it to me free of charge, especially after I had already spent over $40 on the order and pre-tipped generously.

Additionally, the inconvenience of having to return to the restaurant and wait an extra 10 minutes to get the missing pho was disappointing. I had tried to call again before heading back to the restaurant to expedite the process, but no one answered.

The food itself was good, but the service and handling of the situation could have been much better. I hope the phone number gets updated or clarified, and that they work on ensuring order accuracy...

Mama's Pho - not so impressed.

Pho is a relatively new food added to my diet. It was introduced to ne by a friend who regulars a few pho establishments in Tacoma, and many more around the world as he travels. I have been to a few if these places lately and have come to really enjoy the flavors, large portions, and relatively great value.

I was driving through the International District looking for a place that caught my eye. I chose this place as it was packed. Parked, went in and stood in line for 10 minutes. I am not complaining about the wait, just letting you know how busy it was. This made me even more excited thinking that all these people must have found a gem. I'll wait, no problem. The menu was small. Great, the focus is on broth and noodles, excellent.

I think I was wrong. The focus seemed to be on bubble tea, a flavored tapioca powder and tea (I believe) which is made via LOUD blender.

When my seafood pho #46 arrived I looked at it and saw that it was sparsely decorated with a few surimi fish pieces and a fair amount of broth and noodles.

It was bland.

This place was extremely loud.

If cleanliness is next to godliness somebody's in serious trouble.

I lost my excitement, and smile while eating..

The very cold Coca-Cola in the can was perfect, says my wife.

The two small TV's on opposite sides of the room were playing the Lions - Panthers game. The final score left the Panthers defected. My smile was back.

Not worth the...
