Bon Bon Bakery — Restaurant in Lakewood

I was at 711 across the street waiting outside for them to cook me a pizza. I noticed a sign saying bon bon bakery across in the boo han market plaza. It made me curious as to what they sold.

The following day I stopped in to see what the shop was like. It's super clean and well lit inside. I was greeted right away with smiles and hello. And began talking to me about what they have for sale. There are cakes and breads and pastries of all flavors. They gave me a free sample of one of the treats. It was excellent. I can't remember what I was though.

I decided to buy one of their round vanilla cakes that had fruit on top as well as inside the cake. The service was well beyond what I expected. She took out my cake. Put in a super duper cool and stout box. That had a handle and a window to see inside. Included a plastic knife to cut it with. And candles to use now or for whatever reason in the future. After checkout the owner came over and gave me a little bag with 2 cookies in it for free. He's a very nice man.

The cake was perfect. Tastes really good and the presentation of how it looked outside matched that. I highly recommend stopping in to take a look. I'm attaching photos I took of the cake...

My daughter and I went to this bakery for the first time yesterday to get her a birthday cake. She had other cakes made in the past but none that can compare to this Bakery. The wonderful woman at the counter greets everyone and has such a nice demeanor that you can't help but love this place for the service alone. But I'm not just giving the stars for just the service that is the icing on the cake no pun intended.

The cakes that we bought and yes I said the cakes because we decided to get two small cakes and they are top notch. They are not overly sweet like some of the other cake bakeries out there. We loved the fact that they put fruit in their cakes, as well as on top of their cakes. The decorations are amazing and the gentleman that was in the back making the cakes is amazing to. The pictures on their restaurant page is exactly how these beautiful cakes and pastries look yum 😋

This hidden gem is a must try. We will definitely be back to try those pastries. So if you are looking for a new bakery or even just a snack but don't want to be weighed down with sugar give this wonderful...

Bon Bon Bakery is an incredible hidden gem! We were looking at bakeries to prepare a gender-reveal cake, and knew instantly that this was the one.

Upon entering I was dazzled by the beautiful artistry and detail present in the cakes in the display case. I tried the macaroons and knew instantly that the owner-baker is a master. I've had macaroons in all over (including Paris) and these were next level. Soft and moist with amazing flavor!

We requested a gender-reveal cake, gave the owner a slip of paper with the gender and left the rest of the details to his artistic discretion. We were not disappointed! Not only did he produce a masterpiece of a cake, but he did it in 3 days!!! Other places expect weeks. Sometimes months.

I've ordered lovely cakes from bakeries in the past, but nothing comes close to comparing with the flavor and texture of Bon Bon's. We are still in a daze from such a delicious cake. We are seriously considering finding a reason to go back and get another!
