Oh...my...goodness...Y'ALL, DO NOT COME HERE. we ordered delivery tonight and it was the worst, ever. First, their "philly cheesesteak" is anything but philly, from someone native to that area. So we asked for the out of the norm items to be removed (green peppers, mayo, jalapeƱos, cheddar cheese) and some items to replace those if possible; lettuce, tomato and onion (cheesesteak hoagie) with a swap from cheddar cheese to American. Now, they did remove the items we asked and they did give american cheese, but not LTO which, okay, fine, you can't honor that or whatever if it's a price difference and I already paid but thought it'd be okay with removal of other items, but I get it. Outsise of that, the sandwich itself, tasted SO AWFUL. Like...guys...no. Way, way, WAY too much salt and pepper. We couldn't even eat them, including my husband who will literally scarf down anything regardless if it's not the greatest. This was SO salty it was unbelievable! So incredibly disgusting. We also got jalapeƱo poppers which were honestly like the mroger boxed frozen jawns lol but I guess what was I really thinking lol and then onion rings which were okay and mozzerella sticks which were pretty darn cold. This was delivery and we tip okay so the order total was about $72.00....for those appetizers, a small cheesesteak and a large cheesesteak with 4 cans of soda HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HEEEEEELP!!! it was a TOTAL JOKE do not waste your money y'all! Lesson seriously...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWife and I biked down to this apparently well hidden secret in the Sheridan/Westwood area and it did NOT disappoint. We grabbed ourselves the Chicken Mango Habanero and Carne Asada pizzas. We were elated. The fresh cilantro on the carne asada pizza attacks your senses before the slice even hits your lips, kicking those salivatory ducts into overdrive in feverish anticipation for that first delicious bite. Belisimo! Next the chick, mango, hab za is on deck for a wild fusion filled ride of flavour, tackling your senses into submission as they take you on a journey that reminds you of simpler times and the foods that make home home. Zest meets sweet meets the raw yet subtle anger of the habanero while morsels of pineapple guide your pallet back to sanity and a readied desire for the next bite. In short, you MUST eat these foods. The owner also graciously offered us one of his Mango Liss' on the house and was likewise a very flavour induced acid trip much akin to the pizzas....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI heard about this place on Instagram and could not believe how close I live and hadnāt heard of it. I cannot wait to tell all my neighbors about this so they donāt go another day without knowing of this place! Everything was amazing. We ate inside and while itās small the staff is really friendly and it was cool to sit inside and watch all the customers come and go. Pizza came out so fast, we almost brought a card game to play while we waited but there wouldnāt have even been time!
And the taste, I wish I could have eaten 50 more slices. We got the chicken habanero pizza and the sauce was perfect, not too spicy but not sweet. In the words of Goldielocks it was just right! We also had to try the carne asada pizza and let me just say the fresh cilantro was one heck of a treat. Everything was perfect. 11/10! If you think you want to come here,...
