Yummy! Was craving cashew chicken so I did some research and found this place. And boy am I glad I did. Definitely different dining in a grocery store (for me), but I suppose Whole Foods and places like that have cafes, so .... We seated ourselves and the waitress brought us water pretty promptly. She double checked our order before placing it, which I always appreciate. I of course, ordered Cashew Chicken (medium) and my dining companion ordered shrimp spring rolls and some curry. We sat near the tv, I was facing it, and I really enjoyed watching the food preparation while there. The rolls looked fresh and the peanut sauce looked scrumptious. I refrained from trying them. My cashew chicken was a bit sweet at first (wasn't expecting it), but definitely grew on me as I ate. I thoroughly enjoyed every last bit of it and will definitely eat there, and likely it, again. If I lived in town I would be a regular for sure. 😋 We checked out the market afterwards and that was a bit of a treat as well.

I love little hole in the wall, mom and pop shops like this. In this case, it's literally a mom and pop dual running this restaurant that's technically inside of the Viet Hoa supermarket. We came here in search primarily for Boat Noodles and let me tell you, it does not disappoint! The broth is very flavorful and rich, exactly what I was expecting and craving. We also tried the Drunken Noodles which were pretty good, the Thai Iced Tea and the Thai Iced Coffee. Look at the generous portion size for the drinks! I appreciated that, cause they were so good I didn't want those drinks to end. Would definitely recommend coming back. My advice, we got a "medium" spice but it wasn't spicy at all, so I would recommend maybe going up a level to "spicy" if you're on the fence.

Stopped in for lunch as I needed to shop at the Viet Hoa supermarket that this Yai Thai restaurant is attached to. You can come in through the restaurant door adjacent to the supermarket door on the right and go from the restaurant straight into the store. The atmosphere of the restaurant is clean. It’s quaint in size but roomy. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and the ingredients tasted fresh . Everything in my meal was cooked to perfection. You get to decide your heat (spicy) preference from 1-5. They offer plenty of condiments to go with your meal complimentary. There’s a tv for viewing in the dining area. And you can view the store from the restaurant . I would definitely go back and try different dishes on their pictured and well organized menu.

The lady who answered took our order and I am pretty sure she was the only one doing it all. My husband went in to get the order and she was running around like a crazy lady as if she was making the best food on earth but unfortunately this was some of the worst Thai food we have ever had. Maybe because it was an hour before they closed but it was just not good. The sesame chicken as she called it was small bites of what could have been fried chicken possibly cut of skinny strips of chicken sitting in the same sauce that comes with the combo appetizer for the crab Rangoon that was also old food thrown in a bag to passed off as good food. My husband got the pad see you or whatever it’s called and we have never had this dish so over cooked everything was lumped together and had no flavor. The combo appetizer not one thing was edible so it went in the garbage. The white rice was the only thing good and I love flavored food but it was the only thing not questionable. Now the last thing was the sausage it was old dry and had a filmy texture as if it had been sitting all day. I am sorry but we are not from the area and have had food all over the country, and when we saw 4.9 stars we thought it would be good but we were wrong. The lady needs help in there but...

Today was incredibly disappointing. I visited a few months ago and raved to everyone that I'd found the best Thai food in Denver – super spicy (true Thai spicy!), authentic, and absolutely delicious. However, my visit today was a complete letdown. The price went up and the food was one of the blandest Thai meals I've had in a long time. Despite ordering "Thai spicy" for most dishes, everything was incredibly mild. I'm so disappointed.

To make matters worse, I placed my order via a phone call, just as I normally do with any restaurant for pickup. When I arrived, the lady at the counter informed me that they never started making my food because I "never called back to confirm." I explained that I'd stated I'd be picking up soon and that no one mentioned needing to confirm beforehand.

Miscommunications can happen, but there was no apology. Instead, I was blamed for not calling back. I usually call to avoid the middleman, but I think I'll just use to-go apps next time.

Coupled with this poor service and the disappointing food quality, I'm now very hesitant to...
