Was a long term faithful customer at this pizzeria. Till I ordered my regular pizza this evening as I normally do extra sauce on the pizza and crispy . I went to pick it up and found extra sauce on the side and my pizza was extremely burnt. I mean worse than any other time I've ordered my pizza exactly the same. I inquired as to whether they actually put extra sauce on my pizza. My answer I got was no. I then got introduced to the NEW manager. He explained to me that they no longer put extra sauce on pizza only on the side from now on. I then asked why they (Pizza Forte) was able to perform this task prior to his being hired. He (the new mana) went on to tell me that "they (Pizza Forte) was doing everything wrong" prior to him arriving there. I was appalled to hear this, knowing the owners also own the restaurant directly across the street. And (IMO) thought they've been doing a fantastic job up until hiring this manager that thinks everyone should eat & make the pizza his way not the what the customer wants! But I digress, he seemed surprised that I wanted a refund for my pizza.
I can tell this manager has pizza experience by the way his new procedures managed to really F'd up my pizza . And I can tell he's such a good manager because all good managers talk bad about the owners they are employed by. (Being facetiously humorous on that sentence) Not to mention offering to remedy the situation.
So if you're looking for good pizzaor great pizza you will no longer find it here. I suggest you go elsewhere.
I will not go back here anymore, unless management changes.

Read moreLet me start off by saying that this is my neighborhood spot and I love their pizza. I’ve probably ordered it 50 times in the last couple years. So I can’t stress this enough that despite all of that, I’ll never order from Pizzeria Forte again. Their staff is completely indifferent. Zero customer service. Unapologetic for wasting time after misplacing orders. No accountability. It’s real a bummer. On top of waiting 40 minutes in their parking lot after arriving on time, I had to bring the pizza home and bake the one because it was severely undercooked. If you must order, order from the Edgewater location, seems to be a more mature staff. I’m sure they’ve lost more than just my business tonight as there were plenty of disgruntled patrons, either waiting longer than they were supposed to with zero communication from the staff or another gentleman that was getting a refund because of their inability to properly wear their masks. Long story short. Not sure what’s happened over time there, but the quality of service has hit rock bottom. The search for a new pizza spot in the Lakewood/Wheat...
Read moreTried to call in an order and got hung up on twice, let it go, thought cell service was bad. Decided to place our order online. On a Saturday we thought delivery times would be long so we did pickup. Our confirmation email said the order would be ready in 45 minutes. We showed up 50 minutes after ordering and were told it would be 30 more minutes (although they were taking new orders and saying the wait would be an hour). We went back home and tried again 30 minutes later, and they said it would still be 15 minutes. How was the wait more than double the original timeline? Then they almost sent one of the wrong pizzas with us. I will say the cheese pizza was really good. I thought the pizza we got that was kind of like a supreme was greasy and disgusting (but my husband loved it) and the garlic knots were only eh. Feeding the kids an hour later than we thought was a nightmare because everyone was starving and it was getting too...
