Tacos & pizza - a night owl's (& stoner's) dream
Free Doritos Locos taco
Watching the NBA Finals, I kept seeing the promos for a Free Doritos Locos taco 6/13/17 2-6pm. Not one to pass up free food, and knowing there are 2 Taco Bells nearby, it seemed my dinner was set.
This particular location is a Taco Bell/Pizza Hut combined eatery. Notice, however, that only personal pizzas are sold here, and not full-size ones you can get at standalone Pizza Huts.
Doritos Locos taco (free nacho cheese taco only)- Inside, the same as any other Taco Bell taco. Outside, a giant nacho cheese Doritos taco shell. I find it helpful that the taco is housed inside a cardbox frame, making eating less messy. The Doritos Locos taco satisfied & served it's purpose. Of course, I'm partial to street tacos at, say, more authentic places, but I went for a fast food taco, and that's what I got. Hey, I even came back to get one more free taco teehee
Naked Chicken chips- Breaded, marinated all white meat chicken, served with nacho cheese sauce. I'm not a chicken nugget (or something similar thereof) kind of guy, but these were okay for what they were. The breading was minimal, which was good, and the cheese sauce helped add that chemical-laden flavor that tickles the tastebuds.
Service was good. Even though people were piling in, things went smoothly, overall. The dining area has had a revamp, since I was previously here. Now, it's more welcoming & inviting those to stay for a meal.
Parking is in a private lot, with a drive-thru available. Taco Bell/Pizza Hut is located on the right of a Jack in the Box, and across the street from the 99 Cent Store.
Taco run? Yes, I ran, and I ran, again. Taco Bell delivered upon the free Doritos Locos taco promotion w/o incident during my experience. It's not gourmet, and I won't be back unless there's another free offer, but Taco Bell made for a decent dinner, and that's nothing to take...
Read moreOrdered grilled veggie burrito burrito supreme bean burrito two tacos burrito supreme was the shape and size of a 3 musketeers bar weighed it 6oz. It was like soup inside no lettuce a tsp of ground beef and a handful of crunchy hard sour things turned out to be tomato it was all one color light brown and it immediately just dripped out of the tortilla when I cut it in half. I weighed it before I tried to eat it and because it had poured out onto the wrapper I weighed the entire burrito and liquid and wrapper and it read 6 oz. The most insulting part was to be so insulted by this just watery slop it had no flavor none and maybe 3 tiny threads of what I think was lettuce and bean soup light color but only 1 color no cheese no meat really just a hard bb the cubes of sour what I thought were pickles no matter how much I chewed them they would not break down almost like chewing sundried diced pickle but they were orange and white and yellow. I took a second bite thinking this was the usual bad first bites of anything from this Taco Bell but I chewed on nothing but a soggy rubbery wad of tortilla that just gagged me. That was the only thing I ordered for myself and starving what an insult to injury to be charged $4.99 plus 10.25% tax really the grilled veggie burrito weighed 8 oz and wasn't watery. The drinks were overpriced and everything cost so much after ordering a large soda 2 tacos ground beef reg crunchy dry strand of lettuce a half of a tsp of meat and a finger pinch of cheese the filling was not even half way it looked like just taco...
Read moreIf I could leave 0 stars I would. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had gone to this taco bell to get food for my mom and niece. I had ordered through the drive thru. The young man who was at the window was not putting any of the modifications on the order I had placed so I had asked him to make sure the burrito and quesadilla came with no sauce and he just did not respond. I got home with the food and they had put the sauce on the burrito and added sour cream. I returned to the location and let the young man know I would like another burrito no sauce no sour cream. He went and told another man the way I wanted it ( he was so nice at least) and the cook STILL made it wrong. I told him again, I would like no sauce no sour cream and he got mad with me. He started yelling at me "well what do you want in it then" and "your receipt doesn't say that", etc. I told him again, I would like the burrito just NO SAUCE OR SOUR CREAM! Then he proceeded to go back in the kitchen and talk badly about me in Spanish. When he came back with my food I told him I was bilingual and I know what he say. He just threw the food on the counter and walked away without another word. Worst customer service I...
