TJ's Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Lakewood

Food is good. They have one good server, unfortunately, I can't remember his name. Been here twice and never go again. Service and atmosphere awful. The 2 stars is only bc the food is tasty.

The first time here, we went to the bar ordered drinks, pricey. Asked if we get service on the patio. Told someone would be right out to us. Over an hour later, when I was just about to go up to the bar, someone FINALLY came over to us. The bartender was literally able to see us the entire time. We said we wanted food, we just now only got menus. He said he would be back and never returned. We decided to go inside and see if service was better that way. As we walked in, the server who was meant to come back and never did after another 30 mins, was too busy flirting with the bartender to notice! When we sat down at a table inside, Amazing, yet another server came up to us within minutes! It's like you only get served if you're inside and not on the patio! This is the gentleman that was great. But I did end up getting way overcharged for items I didn't even order, but it had been such a long effort (literally 2 hours) to get regular drinks coming and food, I just didn't have the energy to fight it.

Literally at least 3 servers and one bartender in a barely full bar and shotty service. Not excusably busy or understaffed. Perhaps if your servers cared more about customers than flirting with coworkers.

Like I said food is good but not worth it, overpriced and service...

It's been a while since I've felt compelled to write a review over anything but this place was just too good not to! The drinks were good! The staff was friendly. We were sitting outside and they even came and checked to make sure their heaters were on for us. The food was great! We got mozzarella sticks (they were home made and delicious!!!) And we also got a tray full of nachos! These nachos we're caked with all the good stuff and even if you got a chip without cheese on it, there was cheese on the bottom of the pan! I don't even like nachos and these were really good! We also tried their french fries. These were perfectly seasoned french fries and every french fry had the perfect amount of crunch to it! If you're craving any of the above mentioned food, do yourself a favor and give this place a try! You...

Service was horrible. This was the first time at TJs with family. There were many open tables so we sat in one at the bar area. After our food and drinks were delivered by a friendly server that disappeared shortly after, we felt unwelcome and as if we were an inconvenience. (We were no longer attended to or acknowledged by staff members.) REDICULOUS! We were ignored, even though tables around us were being attended to as they filled. The staff seemed to chat with everyone as though they were a "regulars." Food was not cheap. Our bill was well over $80.00 for 4, though we seemed to be the ones doing the work to flag down staff to get our needs met, since staff continued to walk by without "checking on us".
