Turger burger — Restaurant in Lakewood

I gave 5 stars to atmosphere because eating a juice, greasey burger in a quickmart parking lot is the best place to eat their absolutely delicious semi-messy burger! I got the Mushroom Turger and instantly fell in love like I was back in high-school, like I fell hard for her! It's also nice to feel just through the direct interaction that you are ordering from the owners/cooks and that this food truck makes food with love because they are putting their hearts and soles into making it. My wife had the Overeasy Turger and the egg was perfectly cooked and she had all sorts of juices running down her hands. My wife said as she finished "that is the is the best burger in Lakewood, better than Blank and Blank (leaving names out)." And I would add that she is kind of a burger snob and very hard to please as far as this subject goes. That being said I would have put down a plus sign next to my five star review because this place exceeds expectations and made my burger snob wife schedule our return before we left the parking lot. I have been wanting to try a burger from this food truck for a while and today was the day finally! I caught them while at Stellar Mart in Lakewood. The lady that helped me and my sisters out was kind and even brought our order out to our car because it was cold out so we waited in there. The wait was not long, maybe 10 minutes for all three of our orders.

I ordered the Over Easy Burger and the basket of fries. You can tell the chef is organized and experienced, because it was a very neatly composed burger with the egg yolk still intact waiting for the moment when you place the bacon and top bun and take a bite to get that beautiful yolky drip! I appreciated the lettuce and tomato placement on the bottom bun under the meat, structurally, it just makes sense. The burger was solidly good. Much better than a fast food burger, but not a great steakhouse burger. The fries were hot and crispy with a touch of salt and greasy like fries tend to be. Overall the meal was pleasant. I saw this food truck and I was like what the heck is a TURGER burger??? BUT? WOW! This place was phenomenal. I could not explain how good and juicy this burger was. They even cook your burger the way you ask! The most fresh “out to eat” burger I’ve had in my entire life.

I was literally blown out of my chair. Maybe it’s because I’m a big foodie but wow. 5 stars. The bacon on my burger was amazing.

some of the nicest people in a restaurant business I’ve ever spoken to. These guys are REAL people and they are nice and are very appreciative of your business.
