Café Community Bean — Restaurant in Lakewood

Such a cute place! The interior is fantastic, I can tell a lot of love and thought was put into it. A few notes I’d like to share though.

I’m a bit bummed that there aren’t any sandwiches there any more, and maybe this was just the case when I went there, but there was hardly anything to eat at all and no pastries. Not the biggest deal though. I think ultimately it would be great and make for tastier coffee if you used a local bean; perhaps Bluebeard, manifesto, or olympia, as an example. It would match the vibe a lot more as well. Maybe even some homemade syrups or something. The menu also struck me as out of place and looks a bit like a hospital cafeteria or something lol. The exterior could use some additional pizazz, some different paint or something that lets people know you’re there; I didn’t know this was here until now! I’d love to see you...

Shiiiiiiiiiiiitake mushrooms! I had a really nice and thorough review written up, but got distracted and clicked on something ( I was typing this up on my phone) and lost it. If you WFH this is the cafe for you. A relaxing place to come grab a coffee, work on your laptop, or meet a friend. Tons of different seating options from bar style, large tables, comfy couches, and an outdoor space. Plenty of coffee and snack options available. The location is well decorated and I was able to peacefully work here during the afternoon. There are two rooms that you can reserve for small meetings (4 people)....
