An employee was by the register and doing something on her cell phone when I came in. I went and waited by the online order area. She didn't look at me or say a word. This went on for 6 minutes. I know the exact times because I went in when my order was supposed to be ready at 4:26. At 4:32 she took a drive thru order. Customer paid in cash. Without washing her hands after handling the cash, she went and made the order (scooped mashed potatoes into a bowl, etc). She had a couple of more orders, never washing her hands and still had not acknowledged me. At 4:40 I heard her say something about an online order to a co-worker. Oh, by now she had gotten my drinks and put them in the pick-up area. Still absolutely no acknowledgement towards me, during the 14 minutes I had been waiting. At 4:45 she brings my order and sets it by the drinks she previously put there and walks away. She still said nothing to me. The only reason I knew it was mine was because my name was printed on the receipt, plus I was the only customer inside. So, I waited by the pick-up area for 19 minutes without a single word or even a glance from your employees. There were 2 other employees there, one who took a couple of orders outside and the one who the horrible customer service girl told about "an online order."
Holy wow, what absolutely horrible employees the Steilacoom Blvd. store has. What an unbelievably bad experience, and it should go without saying that I'll never order kfc again. This was my 1st time at a kfc in many years; I went because I wanted to try the Beyond chicken. Never again.
PS. That girl has no business working with customers, because she's losing them for kfc.
PPS. I understand orders may not be ready when the app tells you they are, but wow,...

I come through the drive thru, park and await my fries and after approx 10/12mins for “fries” that I was told were already dropped in the fryer before I paid would be ready. I walk back into the restaurant and the fries are in the bin, staff are standing around talking and now I’m looking directly at staff, then one staff began to recall a parked order and proceeds to rush and grab the fries. I then ask for a refund at this point because had i not walked in how much longer was I going to wait after initially being told about 4mins for my fries. It’s not about money it’s about the principal. I then was told the GM was 2 mins away and they are the only ones that can provide a refund. I wait an additional 30mins for this GM because they arrive but don’t come out because they are now handling more important things. I then get my refund and say thank you and leave the establishment. Read moreI came here previously and had a bad experience. I heard they had restaffed awhile back and the restaurant had improved. This isn’t true. Very unmotivated employees, which have no since of time efficiency. Had I been given a receipt I would have complained to KFC. I was originally greeted through the speaker with “yeah go ahead” after ordering I pulled around from the drive through to wait for a 4pc tender which was about a 6 min wait after leaving the drive through only to be given old chicken. I understand waiting for chicken to cook. I understand waiting for you to put the order together. I would also understand getting out of the drive through for other customers. But to pull around and wait on the side when there were no other customers, only to be given unfresh chicken.
