Wendy's — Restaurant in Lakewood

Worst experience ever in a fast food restaurant. The staff was extremely rude and dismissive towards me. I came in because the drive through line wasn't moving for a while so I decided to go in the dining room to hopefully get a quicker service. Absolutely did not. First of all they didn't even acknowledge me. A girl who looked at me at least 5 times didn't even say hello or we will be with you shortly UNTIL 5 minutes after I arrived. She told me to order at the kiosk and I told her I had cash so she just walked off. 3 mins later she said sorry the manager will be with me shortly. I saw the manager and he also saw me, but did not address me or help me and continued to walk by me as if I didn't exist. I swear I tried my best to be patient because I have respect for fast food workers and what they have to deal with at work because I've been there before. But this staff, manager included failed to give me aby acknowledgment or service. I left without ordering because I spent over 10 mins just standing there feeling ignored and dismissed. Never will I ever go to this location because they proved they don't care about the customer and it almost felt hostile walking into a place with so many attitudes and unwelcoming grimaces. Who ever owns this place or manages it at a corporate level should really have a meeting with the management and staff at this location and go over the basics of customer...

I pre ordered my family’s food online for curbside delivery. After waiting more than a half hour for our food while watching many cars come and go through drive thru, I asked my son to go ask about our food. I had to stay with my daughter in the car. He waited at least five minutes before they acknowledged him. He said our food had been just sitting on the counter getting cold and overheard someone behind the counter say to another employee: “they have to come inside to get it.” Not sure why curbside is an option if they expect customers to retrieve their food. Once we finally retrieved our own cold food, we were missing multiple items from our order. When I came in finally after becoming extremely frustrated with waiting more than 40 minutes for our online order, I asked for our final missing item: a drink. They handed me a cup and told me I could make it myself. No apology. Nothing. Honestly - I don’t mind making a drink, but the service at this restaurant is almost always very slow and it has become increasingly worse overall. I’m pretty patient and genuinely forgiving when it comes to fast food. I know it is a stressful job and customers can be terribly rude. But this was just ridiculous. Do better, y’all. And if you can’t, be genuinely apologetic and kind to guests who are showing patience and kindness despite waiting 40 minutes...

I have to say that I am satisfied with my trip to this location. I have read some bad reviews for this location and was not expecting much because of them. To be honest this was a planned trip. Not only was I going to eat, I also came to observe. First thing the staff I delt with personally were exceptional. My order taker Kaylee who had apparently only been on cash register for a few days was bright an bubbly and made everyone in line smile. James the manager fufiled my order. He was energetic and and very respectful of his guests and staff. So on to business. I clocked the drivethru at 6 minutes. My order inside was just over 5 minutes. Speed is an issue. Unfortunately for the drivethru customers they don't get to experience the staff as much. This may lead to some frustration. I can see how 6 minutes can seem like 15 but it's not. Now about the food. l had the 4 for 4 deal with the Jr bacon cheeseburger. All of my items were fresh an hot. 2 pieces of bacon, fresh tomato and lettuce on my burger. I don't drink soda but Im sure it's fine. My ice tea was cold and had a good taste. My opinion is if it's fast food your after, this is a good spot. Remember a lot of the staff are young and at their first job. If you come anywhere at lunch in the Denver area it's gonna take some...
