Ziggi's Coffee — Restaurant in Lakewood

I went in at the beginning of July and was shocked at how hot it was in the store. One singular box fan was blowing hot air around a 80°+ store. It was disgusting. The workers were rushing around making HOT coffee for people in unlivable conditions. When I asked, they said the ac was out and would be for the next SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS. insane how that place hasn't been reported and the owner be sued is beyond me. I can not understand how someone would care more about money than their own workers. Disgusting. I'd like to say that I think it is inhuman, and if the owner does read this, I hope they feel ashamed.

Oh and I saw the reply from the ziggis team, maybe you didn't understand that even if something is fixed, it doesn't negate the fact that you make your employees work in 80° conditions and this is inhumane. Pay your employees more, and have some common human decency. I've reported her poor ownership. I plan to continue until something is resolved. This is not right and needs to be changed. Figure it out, owner.

May I just add that the work environment there has done nothing but get worse. I can't understand how corporate is allowing the mistreatment of employees there. Usually takes a 3-5 minute wait to even get your order taken in the drive through. Sometimes I try to get breakfast or food before I go into work because this location is close to where I live and I always end up being late for work no matter how much extra time I give myself. I do not tip anymore because I am missing out on money from being late to my job. Huge inconvenience.

This place always has new staff (probably because they only pay $13 an hour). It doesn't matter who is in the window the drive thru method is just bad and inefficient. I actually used to work at this location and the way staff is treated for being unhappy with little pay and part time hours is tyrannical.

Just because a company is woman owned doesn't mean it's better. I truly hope they stop opening new locations so they can give all staff a much needed and deserved raise. This "chain" needs a restructure, and better drive through times.

Went to try this place for the first time after hearing about the special sodas they have as my husband and I wanted to try them. We walked in the store and the two girls working didn't bother greeting us, even to say hi we'll be with you shortly. After about 5 minutes they finally came to the counter and when we asked if they had the roads they said no, I asked if they knew when they were getting them they became snarky and didn't answer. In an attempt to not make our trip a total waste we tried to order some coffee drinks and were then told they were out of those as well. Overall we left disappointed and frustrated with the lack of customer service provided by the gals working. I see they now have the sodas but I'm no longer wanting to visit this establishment based on that previous experience.
