Sandy's Scoops — Restaurant in Lambertville

I am so glad my family decided to stop in here. Off the bat I was obsessed with the feel of the place - every detail is so cute. The staff was super accommodating when I mentioned my tree nut allergies, and I was floored when they told me there were no tree nuts in the store. I never feel safe ordering at ice cream shops with my allergies, so that was such an awesome added bonus for me personally. I got a blue raspberry sorbet with rainbow sprinkles that tasted EXACTLY like a blue slurpee!! So good. And the cherry on top was that the spoons (which looked like completely standard white plastic spoons) turn blue when they touch the ice cream, and then back to white after being in your mouth. Almost the worst quality ice cream I have had the misfortune to taste in New Jersey. Two of us purchased peach and honey lavender on 9/22 and both were marred by a crystalline texture with little bits of ice in the mix. Not the smooth creamy texture of good ice cream. The peach had at best a hint of flavor. The honey lavender wasn't too bad taste wise although it seemed lacking in honey. There are two other ice cream vendors in Lambertville. I still have to try one of those but Bucks on Bridge not far away from Sandys is a far better place to patronize. Failing that cross the river and try Moo Hope Ice Cream - somewhat over-priced but...

Went to the lambertville location after they recently opened up. The shop is very colorful inside and the staff is truly amazing when it comes to customer service. They have a large selection of different types of ice creams which will please everyone in your party. I highly recommend this ice cream establishment if you are in the lambertville area. My family and I will be visiting Sandy Scoops again and...
