This happened after I called 5x and no one pick the phone up!! I still gave it a shot only for every bad experience to be true.
After reading all the reviews I was biased on even giving it a shot. Then I looked at the food images on the web page. I love jerk chicken and curry. So I called in my order at 12:36 told the lady who didn't seem like she cared at all if I placed a order or not. I had my order ready based off menu online. I told her id be there at 1 or a few mins later. I arrived at 1:08. there were 3 people inside. an older lady who already placed her order and then a couple. at 1:15 no one would even knowledge there were people standing there. A older man and woman walked right past the counter and didn't even care we were standing there. The couple said they had been there 15 mins and no one had said anything to them. I let them know I called mine in since I'm on lunch break. They let me go ahead. I asked if my order was ready it is now 1:20 as I check my watch. Both ladies acted like they didn't hear or care. one stood there and ignored me and I asked again about my food being ready and let them know it was called in at 12:36. They kept looking confused as one went to back and i waited another 5 mins and asked was it ready a 3rd time and the lady with the air pods in told me she was fixing the plant something that came with it that they had to fry it. I walked out they had almost an hour to have my food ready, the service was the worst and most carefree. You could have an amazing business and restaurant if the staff cared if they were there and about their job. I wanted to try it out so bad because me and my work girls always try diff places and we order the entire office lunch on Fridays. You just lost out on a great customer and a office full of potential customers because poor services. Please don't go back and say you reviewed the cameras like on all the other bad reviews and say you didn't see me come in there. You wont miss the red car at the front door and I can tell you what everyone was wearing today. This is by far the laziest restaurant I've ever been to. To not care enough about the business. Its just sad...
Read moreI recently dined at a delightful Jamaican restaurant that truly embodies the essence of the island. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the impeccable cleanliness of the establishment. Every corner sparkled, creating a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a wonderful meal.
The staff was equally impressive, exuding a pleasantness that made me feel right at home. Their warm smiles and attentive service added to the overall experience, making it clear that they take pride in their work.
As I settled in, the Jamaican vibe enveloped me, with vibrant colors and reggae music creating an authentic ambiance. I couldn't wait to dive into the flavors of Jamaica, and I was not disappointed.
The coco bread was nothing short of impeccable—soft, warm, and fluffy, it felt like a soft pillow of heaven in my hands. It paired perfectly with my meal, enhancing the overall experience.
The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the curry chicken. It was impeccably seasoned, bursting with flavors that transported me straight to Jamaica. Each bite was a celebration of spices, tender meat, and rich sauce that left me craving more.
Accompanying the curry chicken were the rice and peas, which were equally impeccable. The flavors were vibrant, with just the right amount of coconut and spices, making it a perfect complement to the main dish. The steamed cabbage was fresh and crisp, adding a delightful crunch to the meal.
In summary, this restaurant offers an impeccable dining experience that captures the heart and soul of Jamaican cuisine. From the cleanliness and pleasant staff to the unforgettable flavors, I left feeling satisfied and eager to return for more....
Read moreFirst, the lady at the counter was not friendly at all (do better). We got Honey Glazed Salmon W/Shrimp with 2 sides: steamed Cabbage and rice and peas plus an order of Coco Bread. Our order total came to $33. Everything except for the steamed Cabbage was overcooked and dry, but we found a small piece of plastic in the steamed Cabbage (it was still good despite the plastic, but what if it was a younger child eating it and became choked). The Coco Bread has to be eaten with 10 minutes or else it becomes dried out. We've been wanting to try this place out for some time now and when we finally get the chance to, they completely dropped the ball. The presentation was nice but the taste was not as nice. Presentation was a 8 out of 10 and the taste was a 2 out of 10. I noticed in most of the higher rated reviews from other customers that they got lunch instead of dinner (which was what we got). Maybe it's shift change or something and the real cook works earlier in the day, I don't know, but I do know we're not trying to find out anytime soon. That meal definitely isn't...
