I'm not sure when it happened, but it's clear to me and those who know me that it has happened. I found perhaps the only fast food place where I can go and get only what I want. Normally, if I would even go to a fast food spot in recent memory, I might leave with what I ordered, but I always left with something I didn't. Whether it was a mistake with the order or not, I always left with anger, hopelessness, or a general feeling of despair for the state of the world. I'd sworn off fast food joints because of it. I couldn't understand why I was even forced to order from someone who would rather be doing anything at that moment than taking my order. And when the food came, I got a side of 'now go away' with it. Then my wife asked me to go pick up her order at Chik-fil-A, and it happened, the dark skies parted and warm sunlight bathed my face. It felt like the first time a girl smiled at me or when I made that last car payment. A weight was lifted off my back and I could finally stand up straight and take in a full breath of air. I was alive again! They were nice to me, and their mouths did this strange thing where the corners were raised when they spoke to me. I don't know what that's called, but it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. When I got back to my car, I noticed in my reflection that my face was also contorted in the same way. I was scared but mostly I was filled with the joy of knowing where to get some truly awesome chicken sandwiches and happiness all at the same time. Perhaps I am a bit over the top in my reaction, but I can not help myself. I want others to know my joy. Brothers and sisters go find your chicken sandwiches and your happiness at your local Chick-fil-A! You...
Read moreI have to change my review from 5 stars to 1, would be zero if there was an option. They got rid of the Chicken salad, which was some of the best I've had. Not the best buts it's up there on the list. Well tonight I go in for a quick bite, oder chicken salad and the manager (who was taking my order) said sorry we don't carry that anymore, I asked why not, she said it was cororay decision... I left it alone, well I got a chicken sandwich and fries, as I watch my sodium intake I asked for no salt on the fries as usual and she says sorry we can't do that anymore. Everything has to come as it's on the menu, so I say to her I thought this was supposed to be a healthier, Christian business. She said well it is, I said if you can't not salt some waffle fries something is seriously wrong here. Well we both managed to stay nice and polite although I just wanted to rip the cash registers up and throw them thru the windows to help ease the crappy day I already had, but I just smiled and took my change and said thanks. I won't be going back spending my...
Read moreI visited the location to purchase 17 cows for my 7 year olds class at school and was told by hunter that Chick-Fil-A no longer gives any type of discounts when I know for a fact they give military/police discounts. He flat out lied to me. I went ahead and purchased the cows, but I want everyone to be aware of how he runs his location. I’m sure he makes plenty of sales and it would not have hurt his business to give a 10% discount for the 7 year old kids in my sons class…considering it’s Christmas time. Is Chick-Fil-A hurting this bad?
After leaving CFA(as Hunter calls it), I reached out to CFA Cares and let them know how disappointed I was. Hunter reached out to me and told me that they do give police discounts but it's only to keep the presence of police in their facility and not as a thank you for their services. Hunter is hands down the most selfish person I've ever met and for him to say this in writing about police/military is just a slap in the...
