Grinder's Restaurant — Restaurant in Lancaster

Friday April 19 2024 me and the family went to eat dinner here around 7 pm we had our drinks order taken and our orders and we got 2 appetizers of cheese balls and fried pickles 30 mins the waitress brought out the cheese balls and I sat and waited finally I asked her hey where are my pickles she replied oh crap I forgot em ,she finally brought them to me so we sat there longer and we looked at the time it was 8:45 and I ask my wife where the hell is our food I asked the lady again and she said just a few more minutes finally at 9:15 TWO HOURS AFTER WE GOT THERE we get outlr food and it was COLD AS HELL the cooks we coming out the kitchen waving at people they knew the waitress never came back to freshen up our drinks and when I told the guy behind the bar this was the worse service I have ever received since going there did he appogiese HELL NO all he said was man we been busy tonight HERES A TIP why don't you guys focus on the customers in the restaurant and get them their food HOT and keep them happy cause Wirth service like I had this past Friday night grinders WONT GET NO...

This was our first time coming to grinders restaurant in Lancaster South Carolina. It's very old school plywood benches on the inside but neat and clean very bar-like tavern feel. Our waitress was named Alexis I believe and she was absolutely perfect quick with the orders quick with the drinks quick with the food always with a smile checking back on us occasionally absolutely fantastic. I personally had a double bacon cheeseburger with french fries and pickles and a drink I would give it a 9 out of 10 my only reason for not being perfect is I literally only got about seven or eight french fries. This restaurant has really great food and I’ve ordered here a few times but lately there has been some bad customer service on to-go orders. This is the second time, I have ordered my food over the phone 20-30 minutes before my lunch break. I get there and I pay, but my food is not ready says the Cashier Rita..so I waited one time 10 mins.. this time 20mins.. my lunch break is nearly over. And what do you know.. my food is actually ready and sitting right on counter in front of her.. she never checks the tickets. Please upgrade customer service.. especially on your to go...
