My family had this place for the first time yesterday and we were quite disappointed. My kids ordered the shrimp poboy and fish. I ordered the hot sausage PoBoy. Let me start by saying their “Poboys” aren’t that because they aren’t on French bread, but that wasn’t the reason for my disappointment. However, I do think they should at least explain their “poboys” are on hoagie style buns. I was disappointed because the “hot sausage PoBoy” had only one pattie that was cut in half. Also, the order was wrong, I wanted pickles and lettuce but neither was on the sandwich. But, in hindsight, I’m glad they didn’t add the lettuce because, there was more bread than meat, so I could barely taste anything. Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t expecting an “over-stuffed” poboy, but I do expect to at least get my moneys worth when ordering food. Im from New Orleans so I was very excited when I learned about this place, but my 1st experience was definitely a disappoint. I always want to patronize black businesses and then to be from New Orleans is absolutely an added bonus for me to be a repeat customer, but I’ll be honest I’m leery about returning because I’m afraid it’s not worth the money. I really want this to be the place where I can get a taste of New Orleans while I’m here in Texas

I went here all the time when they were in the Houston area, and my spouse and I dropped by the new location when we were in DFW last weekend. The food was incredible, just as it was at the old location. The Lemon Pepper Cajun wings are some of the best I’ve ever had, and the shrimp fried rice pairs so well with it (the old Eric Eats meal). The red beans and rice are packed with so much flavor, and the rice is cooked perfectly. The shrimp are fried perfectly on the shrimp po’boy. Typically, I am not a fan of crinkle fries, but these are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and seasoned so well. This is fantastic food made by a fantastic family that cares about their customers. It’s like the best of home cooking in a restaurant and they make you feel like part of the family!

Lancaster is blessed to have this new establishment! Their attention to detail in the decorating was top notch. I love the vision they had and how they went for it! With a line of people waiting outside for them to unlock the doors at 3:00, the husband did so, then got behind the counter and thanked us all for coming to support their business. He was so kind and you could tell he was truly appreciative. We ordered the Shrimp Po-boy and Cajun Alfredo Shrimp Pasta. Both were amazing and we are looking forward to this being a go-to spot for us for dinner. ...As a matter of fact, this review is from yesterday's experience and we are headed up there right now for a quick bite before our evening plans.

Orange Lee's has good food, but will I be back is the question. I went there yesterday and they stopped accepting orders, which is fine, so I decided to return on a Sunday. The hours on Google versus their location are totally different. So make sure you get there between 12 pm and 6 pm.

Once I arrived, the line was to the door, and people were waiting for their food. There is a menu at the register that says the food takes about 20 minutes to prepare. So I was okay with that because it would seem to be fresh. I ordered the crawfish egg rolls and the shrimp and crawfish Alfredo. This took about an hour for my food to come out. People were complaining, and they had to stop taking orders to catch up finally. I understood why folks were getting upset, and if I didn't have my phone to scroll on IG, I would be mad, too.

After getting home and looking at the food, there were no crawfish in my Alfredo, and the bread was missing (which I was told bread was included). I refuse to drive back there, so I tried calling and no one answered. Also, there is a price difference in shrimp and crawfish Alfredo versus shrimp Alfredo. The food was good and had a spice to it. Will I be back? I haven't...

My husband and I came on this past Sunday. We had the wings combo and the philly egg rolls. The wings were AMAZING and the fries had a nice taste (some sort of seasoning on them)! I had the cajun lemon pepper. The philly egg rolls were good as well just fried a little hard but still tasty. I was prepared for a long wait but did not experience that. We waited about 15-20 mins which is great for freshly cooked food. I also liked the ambiance of the space. It was vibrant and the playlist was nice, music volume was just right. We could have a conversation while we waited for our food and hear each other speak. The only feedback I really have is the young lady (with the braids) that was at the register could have been a bit more customer friendly. I will be back for sure to try some of the other menu items. I wish I could have just...
