I’ve been coming to Toms Burgers #30 for a while now because it’s been a better choice than their…let’s say “Premium” rivals. However, today would prove not to be the better choice. Here we go with the story.. my brother-in law has never experienced Toms and I had been raving about how good they are…especially their zucchini fries. So it seemed like an easy decision to make for a night of hunger and anticipation as we entered the drive-thru. When we got home I was very disappointed to see what we got in the bag. In fact, I was very embarrassed by the lack of effort that was put into our order especially after bragging about how great Toms is to my family. The burgers were super soggy and the zucchini fries….oh the zucchini fries were absolutely terrible. I included a picture with my claim so all can see how terrible it really was because these are not the zucchini fries I’ve raved about in the past. I even called Toms to say that not only did we have burnt zucchini fries and soggy burgers but they also forgot an order of fries. Normally I wouldn’t be too upset but if you spent $75 on an order of 6 people you may be a bit upset too. They said I could come back with the food and the receipt to do a food exchange and pick up the missing fries but I’m already home seated for dinner and honestly…who is going to get up, get back in their car and spend the gas money which is close to $5 a gallon right now to fix a bad food order? JUST MAKE IT RIGHT TO BEGIN WITH! To conclude, I don’t know if I should give Toms a second chance or take a chance with the “Premium” guys again but one thing is for sure….my in-laws won’t...
Read moreEdit/Update: 03/31/25 I've gone back a few times since I wrote the below review and I had to be lying if I said they didn't improve.. maybe not so much my review but anything I had a complain about before kind of has gone out of the window.. my go-to for breakfast but I ordered some chili cheese fries and I must say they give Doubles and Louis a run for their money.. but anyways customer service and food gets five stars for sure.
My girlfriend and I came here for lunch I ordered the half pound patty melt meal and she ordered a steak. My girlfriend felt that her state was pretty tough for a medium steak so she took it back. She went inside and while the waiter or the cashier was apologetic the cook overheard her complaining about the toughness and so he told her that if she comes back and complains again that that's just how the stakes are so this time I believe she ordered it medium rare and it was even tougher than the first time so maybe it's just the steaks but in my personal opinion I believe he may have felt the type of way about the complaint because there wasn't even an ounce of pink in the steak this time it was super duper well done and dry. Read moreI placed my order they made it wrong I took it back to them and employees was so rude and her facial expressions on top of that were so hateful. So another employee brings my food and it still wasn't right so I go back to the counter and employee sends a different employee I told her look this is the 2nd time I am bringing my order back because it was made wrong so she said the cook made it the way you asked for it so I said really if that were so I wouldn't have to bring you back my order. So I said to her please refund me my money she says I need your receipt so I said I wasn't given a receipt so she says we'll I need the receipt or I will not be able to give you your money back. So finally here come another employee and says what is the problem here. So I explained to her what had happened so she tells the first employee to give me a refund so the employee tells her she doesn't have a receipt the other employee says it's okay just give her a refund. All this time spent back and forth just to get my money refunded for an order there cook couldn't make right. I will never go back to this...
