The service was exceptional. Food was good but honestly… have not had this type of service in quite some time. Hostess … very friendly, and waitress was very knowledgeable about many of the menu items…including local favorites and get this….how food was prepared! Ya don’t see that too often now days. The hotel was built in 1704 .. So ….there is some historical value and historical charm throughout the building. Marinara sauce on the mussels was very good. Potato skins -good enough for the night. (not a big fan of cheese wiz) Pasta medley- very good I will return for a 2nd bite of the apple!

Wait staff was not dressed properly. One of them had on short running shorts. Food was sub par. Meal took way to long to come out. At one point another server (not ours) came out with a few bites of pasta on a plate and said it was a complementary appetizer. First of all an appetizer? I don't think so. Plus we already had our appetizers . 20 mins before that. My husband's dinner was a piece of chicken that was the size of half a slice of white bread. Mind you each dish was about $20 to $25 each. My seafood dish was drowning in butter which made it pretty disgusting. Side dish pastas were dried up from sitting under the heat lamps to long. Dinner was very expensive and not even close to worth it. Mind you it was not even busy....

Been wanting to try this place since we moved to Langhorne. Went for dinner with my family and was not disappointed. We went on a Saturday, so it was quite busy. Service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the food. My husband chose Salmon, he said it was tasty. I had veal Parmigiana which was so delicious! My brother chose shrimp Parmigiana and they were huge and he said they were excellent. Sister in law decided on a marinated flounder, now she never usually finishes her whole meal but she did this time! We are in walking distance to the hotel/restaurant and I am sure we will not be...

Mussels are great. Apps are good and their prices are decent.

Glad its not far from Newtown bec I actually prefer an authentic, ummm "dive bar" to the Newtown snob overpriced bars near me.

Female bartender has been there forever but is kinda rude. Just walks around with a chip on her shoulder. Maybe its from the mothball smell in there.

Lunch service is slow. I think the waitress was watching tv while we watched our drafts on the bar getting warm. However, french onion soup is delish and so is the tuna salad.

thumbs up - needs some help but still gets a thumbs up. (please get rid of...
