Ok, I'm not out to completely pan this place for one bad meal, although it was my first visit. We had the Margarita pizza, which is one of my favorite kinds of pizza. I've never seen one quite like this one. The mozzarella was practically non-existent. Had a wanted a straight tomato pie with a little basil thrown on it, I would've ordered that. I've seen this type of pizza done both where the cheese is even over the pie and, like this one, hunks of cheese placed over it. But, they really were skimpy with the cheese. The crust was pretty soggy due to the super thick layer of sauce. Now, I'm not a picky person. It's not my common practice to complain. But, I was very disappointed. My son specifically chose this place because he likes the place, so I can only assume they either had a bad night or their version of this kind of pizza is nothing like I'm accustomed. Speaking of bad nights, I just had the worse night of heartburn in memory. Barely a wink of sleep. On a positive note, our waitress was pleasant and attentive, so I have nothing bad to say about the service. The pizza was served quickly and with a smile. I didn't catch her name, else I would give her personal credit here in my review. Servers work hard and they deserve the credit due. Would I eat here again? Perhaps. But, I would not order what I did. One bad experience doesn't necessarily make the establishment bad. But, last night left me...

Read moreBrother's Pizza, Langhorne, PA, has been around for a long time. That type of staying power means that the food is consistent, good and is of good value. After having eaten here about 6 times in 2 months, I can agree with all of these things. Their soups, that are generous in both quantity, and ingredients are consistently satisfying. Their steak sandwiches are always bursting out of the very good and soft roll. Their pizza is an obvious local favorite, featuring a nice thin crust, flavorful sausage chunks (among other toppings) and is topped with a savory cheese. So anxious was I to dig into this pie, half of it was gone before I remembered to take a photo! You can't go wrong having a quick meal at Brother's Pizza. While the sit down restaurant fills up, I've never had to wait. The servers and staff are very friendly, attentive and drink refills are no problem. There is ample parking and sidewalk style outdoor seating for the nicer weather. I recommend...
