Langhorne Branch, Bucks County Free Library — Attraction in Langhorne

This library is very nice atmosphere wise, the kids area is great and the selection of toys and books. However some of the librarians are very unfriendly. In the year I’ve been coming here with my toddler/school aged child I’ve witnessed librarians shout at parents/kids in the child area, they rush you out the door before closing time, always shut down the kids place early and never exchange pleasantries like good morning, good night, hello, goodbye, thank you, you’re welcome, etc. The free library of Northampton is much better, larger and friendlier, and only about 10 more minutes of a drive...

This library is awesome for young kids. Their story times are wonderful. Very interactive and much more than just stories. They also have them almost every day and you don't need to register, just show up! My 3yr old had a blast in the play area in the back that looks like a whole little town complete with library, gas station, market, police/ fire station, etc. Plus costumes and even fake mail to deliver to the mailboxes at each building. There's also a gated area for crawlers to stay safe from rambunctious kids who might otherwise...

I love the kids section of this library it's very close to the local playground too. They have tables outside with a few garden instruments and they have Giant games right outside too for you to play . Like Giant contest four or checkers. They offer self check out for local residents with a library card and have coloring pages and stuff about for the kids. Lego tables and a few tablets but they don't...
