Asian Legend Vietnamese Cuisine — Restaurant in Lansdale

Wow I have eaten at several vietnamese restaurants in my 32 years of being married to my wife and we always compare the new ones to our faveret one in philly. This one I would say is right there at 4.8 with oxe tail out side of Atlantic City being 4.7 and Philly being 4.9 I like the broken rice with broiled pork or beef and the spring rolls at all of them to compare. Withers this said the attention to detail here and the way they prepare the fish sauce and peanut sauce was the best I have ever had. The spring roll where good and tasty but I would have preferred them hole but cut in to byte size but other than that the best I have had other than the wifes because no one can beat the pheasant rolls she makes for me , that is love. The lettuce that come with their roll should be of a size that you can rap the roll in it to eat traditional and the picked carats and dicon was very tasty but not enough and did not like the way it was cut but boy it was good! The server did well with the restrain was very crowded he cleared the empty dishes and keeled the waters filled, but the give everyone water when you sit down and never asked if you would like any other beverage. All in all that night 123 mile away I so much wanted to go back for more. I have a niece that live just down the street and l now have to find reason to go visitor her now. I love the Pho Ga (chicken pho) & the Four Season Rolls! It's basically like a summer roll sampler platter with 2 of each kind & great for sharing 😊 This was my first time dining in, I usually order takeout but thoroughly enjoyed my meal & the experience. My only caveat for the food is I didn't realize there was a spicier side to the dipping sauces & that would be nice if it was explained before using the sauces placed at the table. Also would've been nice to not be sitting at a table right next to a very large TV... in the past when waiting for takeout, I appreciated seeing the beautiful aerial videos of Thailand & Vietnam while waiting but when sitting essentially underneath the TV, not so much. We’ve been having ramen for the last couple weeks and I Miss having pho soup so I asked my husband to look up one near us and we picked Asian Legend. When we arrived was around 4ish pm on Sunday. There was only one table with 2 people and us at that time. I was sort of wondering and nervous why there was not many people at this place. We had spring rolls and we really like it from the spring rolls flavor to the dipping sauce. We’re both customized a bit our pho soup. My husband had pho soup with meatballs only (on the menu they have meatballs and sliced beef) got extra charged $1 extra for substitutions.
