Living in Lansdale for more than 3 years I can honestly say this is one of the best ice cream establishments I’ve ever known. This family owned and operated Ice cream shop provides a sense of community like no other. The portion sizes for the prices they charge are fair and generous. They are always so happy to serve you and do anything to make your experience memorable. The Main Freeze is truly an amazing representation of a community business that is supported by the community on an unprecedented level. Before I go, the Italian ice they have is definitely worth trying, if I had to stand in a line for two hours to get it I would. This is the BEST local ice cream shop in Lansdale that you can walk to if you live around Main Street. We’ve been enjoying their ice cream since we moved back to Lansdale almost 4yrs ago. NEVER, NEVER had a bad visit here. The owners and their staff is always super friendly!! I always get the medium hard scoop chocolate ice cream on a cake cone. It’s $4.00 and the scoops are HUGE! They have many different Premium hard scoop flavors - Emmaus Pa to change it up. Vegan scoops from Tofutti Tofu and Italian Ice from Via Venetian - Norriston Pa. How did I not know about this place?! The ice cream and water ice are SO CREAMY, the portions are more generous than anywhere else I’ve gone, and yet the prices are the lowest! Their ice cream comes from Emmaus and there’s quite a variety of flavors. I was delighted to see several vegan options as well! There are a plethora of toppings for any combo. I had a “small” Gelatti with vanilla soft serve and lemon water ice (which was real lemon – no artificial color) and it was phenomenal!
