I was craving a good breakfast burrito while in the area for work and found this spot on Google, so I decided to give it a try.
When I walked in, I noticed they had a variety of seating options. I was initially seated in a busier section, but since I was dining alone, I preferred a more secluded spot. My waitress was very accommodating and moved me to a quieter area, which I really appreciated.
I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was listed on the menu as having potatoes, ham, egg, cheese, and spinach. My food came out surprisingly fast—not an issue since the tater tots were fresh and crispy, and the burrito was hot. However, when I took a bite, I immediately noticed that it had sausage instead of ham. That completely threw me off because it wasn’t what the menu described. I don’t mind sausage, but this just wasn’t a day I was in the mood for it. I’m not one to complain, but if the kitchen ran out of ham, I feel like I should’ve been informed rather than just served whatever was available.
On top of that, the burrito was bland and completely lacking in seasoning. For $19, it was definitely not worth it—especially when paired with a tiny $3.50 cup of orange juice that was basically kid-sized.
I’m sure they have other great items on the menu, but unfortunately, this experience didn’t leave me...
Read moreSince 2015 I have been coming to Valentino’s, integrating it into my family in such a way that represents our community. From the very first day I stepped foot inside this amazing, unique, and special hometown business, I knew how special it was. The atmosphere as you walk in is welcoming and warm with decor reminiscent of Italy. I am the type of person who will Stand behind local businesses with all of my heart as long as they are providing something to the community and Valentino’s offers something genuinely special. Before my father passed away we took him to Valentino’s as he loved the eats there and enjoyed interacting with the waitresses and waiters who knew him. Truly such a wonderful memory I will always cherish and appreciate. Valentino’s is definitely a mainstay in our area and you must try it out. Authenticity meets culture, hospitality, and community. Valentino’s is where...
Read moreHad to be in Lansdale early today. Had time between appointments so went on the hunt for breakfast. Came across this spot so we stopped. We were seated immediately. I ordered eggs, Turkey sausage, home fries, wheat toast, coffee and a cinnamon bun to satisfy the sweet tooth I seem to always have. Hubby ordered a cheese omelet (made with 4 eggs), home fries and tea with lemon and honey. The food hit the spot but next time if I'm in the area for breakfast and stop here, I'll ask that onions and peppers be added to the potatoes. The omelet was nice and fluffy according to hubby. I know why the beverages are an add on since the margin for profit is HUGE!! I think money can still be made by making the breakfast a few cents more and include the beverage. Or just forego the beverage instead of paying over $2 a cup, though a refill was included. But what is breakfast without...
