Me and my girlfriend went the other day and while we were there looking to have a relaxing drink or two, for some reason, it turned into a rather stressful experience. As soon as we were sat down, everything seemed okay. Our waitress took our drink orders (forgot our waters but that's fine) and asked us if we were thinking of food. We said we weren't sure yet. Makes sense. We're just taking our time and we'll see. We're drinking our drinks when about five minutes later, the same waitress comes by again and asks us if we wanted any food yet. Once again, haven't made up our minds yet. That should be neither here nor there in any normal establishment that spins itself off as a brewery, but nope, that seemed to not be good enough. Me and my girlfriend noticed that our waitress and who appeared to be the manager were looking at us and talking about what I could imagine was us, for some reason. Once we noticed this strange behavior, we both looked at them, at which point they moved their conversation out of our eyesight. Why they would feel the need to talk about their patrons, and to do so blatantly, is beyond me. Already feeling a little anxious about whatever was going on, the waitress then continued to come by our table every two minutes asking if we were still "good", acting as if everything was fine and we didn't just see what we saw, and we continued to say yes to be cordial. One may think this is good work ethic on her part, however, when you are coming by and asking your patrons every two minutes, several times I may add, if they are "good", it comes off as badgering and just plain rude. If the problem was that we didn't get food and instead were drinking our drinks in a brewery, then maybe this is a place that should advertise itself as a place where you absolutely MUST buy food to go along with your drinks. Sort of like how comedy clubs have a two drink minimum. However if this was not the issue then I had to wonder what was? Only the waitress and manager in question could. And honestly, the final nail in the coffin was when said manager came over to us, gave us our check, and said, of all things to say to a customer who just spent their hard earned money at your establishment after receiving all sorts of unnecessary nudging, "see ya". Don't worry. You will not be "seeing" me anytime soon. Sorry. Other than that, the beers were quite good and I was contemplating having another, but after all of that, I decided that one was enough. If anything, I hope this review reminds the employees and employers that making a customer feel welcome is always the best element to making your brewery an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe called and verified that there were vegetarian meal options before walking in less than 5 minutes later (Wednesday at 8:40pm). A few minutes after seating ourselves did a waitress stop by, only to mention that the kitchen closed at 8:30, which was not mentioned when we called and was surprising since they close at 10pm. She asked if we still wanted to order drinks or if we just wanted to leaveā¦
Not the friendliest staff or service for the first experience being here and as a result, would not return or recommend to friends. The patrons appeared to be decades older than us, granted it was Jeopardy night. Unclear if this factored into our customer service experience or not. Disappointing experience.
Update after owner responseā kitchen hours on the website indicate open from 3pm-9:30pm on Wednesday. Unsure why this was not followed or offered for our party (kitchen closed at 8:30). If any improvements are being implemented that affect hours, Iād recommend updating them for transparency. Similar staffing issues are noted in other reviews and they have been āworking on improvementsā via...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to well crafted yesterday a Sunday. I though it would be a pain to find parking but it was ok. The outside looks nice and I like the top area which appears let's you have pets while hanging out which is cool. The style and decor when you walk down is nice. It has a nice vibe and looks good. The stage set up is nice as well. The bar was a good size and you can see the tanks to the left. We only stayed for one drink because they called last call early and because they stopped serving food. We got there about 630 and seen other with food so it was disappointing when we were told the kitchen was closed. I kind of wanted to pull some Tommy boy skills as I was hungry but oh well. We stayed for our one drink before leaving to find some food. The beer I had was a German style. I cannot remember exact description but a heferzisen style beer. It was pretty good. Without being able to eat there and get the full experience I cannot give it a higher rating but that could change depending on how things are the next...
