Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Lansing

Ordered just a cookie/brownie dessert at 9:25pm. It was labeled as delivered around 20 minutes after ordering but we never heard a knock. Looked around the door, outside, all other apt doors, etc. but our food wasn't anywhere. Called the manager around 10:10pm (45 minutes late already) and they asked us to wait 20 more minutes after insinuating it was somehow our fault ("well it was contactless" what does that have to do with not getting a knock, a text, any sign it was delivered AND we looked all over the building as soon as it said delivered???). In the time they asked us to wait extra we drove over to another fast food place from the apartment, went through the drive thru, and got back home at 10:30 to find nothing at our door nor around the building still (never had any issue with a neighbor stealing food so that's not likely at all). Called again at 10:35, a different worker hung up on us after we said our situation and that we were calling back. Called back a third time and sat on hold for over 15 minutes until someone finally picked up. They immediately put me back on hold then told me they could resend it to which I said hell no give me a refund, it's almost been 2 hours and I'm leaving the house. They were very weird about the refund, not really giving me much to work with and now I just have to fingers crossed that they will actually refund it???? The third worker who said we will get our refund was named Tiffany.

I will be calling corporate AS WELL AS calling my bank to ensure the charge gets removed. Pls never go here, don't risk having a...

This place has always been half Hit or Miss..but the management Needs to be alot better. The workers making the pizza were wiping their hands on the back of their pants after touching the ingredients with bare hands. And touching everything else. This is the last time I decided to Ever come here again. I ordered the New New York style..to give them a shot..1st off..the larges now look like Mediums. And some of my slices looked like regular cut slices, others weird shapes. And some were cut thru the crust but not down the length of the slice. I told Heather this is just a large pizza with wonky cutting..she was Adamant that it was the ny style. She offered to remake it, because clearly I felt like they just upcharged me for a large regular pizza. So I told her, I'll wait..but I'll take a slice since it's going to be a while. So she said no. A few smart comments as to why I was looking at her funny. Then takes the pizza from me..I told her, I didn't want another just a refund..she said she couldn't give me a receipt. But it would be cancelled..as I was getting ready to leave she slams the window and leaves..Now, this situation could've been handled Way better than this. And with her Attitude..I could've matched her Energy. BUT THIS IS A RESTAURANT CALLED DOMINOS. NOT HEATHERS PIZZA..DONT BE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL TO CUSTOMERS THAT JUST WANT A GOOD PIZZA PAID PAID FOR WITH THEIR MONEY. SHE NEEDS TO GET TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE..SHE IS A TERRIBLE EXAMPLE OF A MANAGER. I WOULD NEVER EVER HIRE HER. AND IF SHES THE LEAD, I CAN SEE THIS STORE CLOSING DOWN, WITH CRAPPY SERVICE AND SLOPPY LOOKING FOOD. I WILL NO LONGER...

Big management failure at this location. Ordered delivery; we're less than 1/2 mile from the store. Estimate was 40-50 minutes. It took over two hours to be delivered. Wife called the store to check on the order status around the hour mark and was told they had a single driver running back and forth, and that - despite having been done for 45 minutes at this point - our pizza was still at the store. If you're that backed up, clearly you have a backlog of orders, so wouldn't it make more sense to pack the guy's car with all of the outstanding deliveries instead of just letting them sit at the store and having him run back and forth? As midnight passed, I checked online - still able to place another order for delivery. So, delivery is taking two hours and you haven't turned off online delivery orders after midnight when you close at 1 AM? That's going to guarantee some customers are even more upset. Delivery driver - when he finally showed up - was nice and apologetic and explained that the other two drivers had called out and that he was alone for deliveries that evening. Fair enough - definitely not his fault, and I feel back for the harsher words he certainly heard this evening from others. Food was completely cold - definitely not food safe; never stood a chance. This was a total failure of management. Turn off delivery ordering if you're that backed up. Better yet, if you have 2/3 of your drivers call out, then the manager needs to buckle up and clock some windshield time delivering themselves. Avoid this location at all costs.
