I came through the drive-through and got my weekly $3 pork sandwich. I dealt with Shelby at the window. She was fast, friendly, said "Aaaaah how cute" to my two Chihuahuas (big points with me). The sandwich was excellent. I got two sauces like I wanted (One spread on top and one to dip) and Shelby needs to be recognized. I'm a little disappointed in the manager's responses on here though. 4/5 "Thanks for the high rating" (Huh? That's a B). "Thanks for your positive feedback" for a 3/5 (That's a failing grade). "Aim for the moon, if you miss you'll still land among the stars" is my advice. Again, my experience rocked, but I'd like to see management aim for higher. P.S. I see people complaining about price. This company uses humanely treated animals. Not enough people care about that. I can get a $3 sandwich on Wednesdays and know the animal I'm eating was treated with respect. That is well-worth the money. Come when they open and you'll run into their awesome employee Shelby. You won't be...
Read moreI have been to many Dickies in multiple states and I have to say that the Laramie, WY Dickies is the absolute worst. Dickies is an amazing brand but unfortunately this branch does not hold up to what it should be. I go every so often and the meals are usually at least decent but this last time I won’t be going back. The food was absolutely horrendous. I went during normal dinner time 6:30, and the meat was cold to the touch and was hard. The brisket was burnt pieces that were rubbery in texture, I literally compared it to the chopped dog food I would I feed my dog. And the jalapeño cheddar sausages were old or something. Hard with no flavor at all… and it’s a jalapeño sausage. How do you mess that up? The sides seemed fine other than being cold, but the roll was hard as a brick. I literally didn’t even eat the majority of my 20 dollar meal. What a...
Read moreThis was my 3rd time going to a Dickey's after my parents got my girlfriend and I a ton of Dickeys gift cards for Christmas.
The staff was incredibly friendly. If I could review just them, I'd give them a 5 star rating.
The food is not worth it though. For starters, it's not cheap. I feel like they charge more premium BBQ prices for food that doesn't at all live up to it. Almost all the meats NEED bbq sauce. It's not a compliment to the food, but a necessity. The corn muffins are always borderline dry and stiff. The meats are never very warm. The ribs were ok, probably the best of the three meats we got. Jalapeno cheddar Sausage was okay. The brisket burnt ends were okay.
Were hoping we'd use up the last of the gift card, but alas, there's more on it. We'll have to try it again, regrettably, and get the use out of gift cards...
