Hambone's Pizza & Sports Bar - Laramie — Restaurant in Laramie

I've tried this place twice. They dropped the ball twice. I won't try again. The first time I ordered, I waited over an hour when it should have been 15 minutes. I called and they said "the driver knocked and rang the doorbell but no one answered. We tried to call but didn't get anyone so he left it at the door.". So the driver (who did not in fact do any of these things to get ahold of me) left the pizza in the snow and it saw for probably 45 and was cold.

Ok. Fine. Decided to try them again today, online order for pickup, cash on pickup this time. Got an order confirmation screen (in the CORRECT city I picked) in the browser but for some reason, it didn't send me an email to verify account. That's fine, didn't worry about it. Go to pick it up and they don't have it. Called the Cheyenne store. It apparently got sent to them. Even though I picked Laramie, made sure that's what it said. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel like people should know. We tried ordering online, but their website wasn’t working—so we had to go in person. After placing a simple order, we ended up waiting over 40 minutes, only to have the order come out completely wrong. No apology, no explanation, and no effort to make it right. The staff didn’t seem concerned, and the overall service was just disappointing. If your website doesn’t work and customers are waiting that long, the least you can do is get the order right. I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and my wife a margarita pizza. Both pizzas tasted like a pre-made crust or were frozen, and my wife's pizza had almost no visible tomato whatsoever, but did get a few morsels of brll pepper. Both pieces were extremely oily on the bottom and soaked the bottom of the boxes. I certainly wouldn't make the trip across town and wouldn't take a free pizza if they gave it to me. Maybe they just had a bad night, and since we got takeout we didn't rate the atmosphere or the service. However, two stars is pretty generous unless you're a drunk college student looking for something to soak...
