I have had two experiences with this restaurant. My first I ordered a cup of soup and half a sandwich. When I got home I realized that my sandwich was LITERALLY two bites, and my soup cup was not filled up past the halfway mark. I reached out to the store via email and I was given points to make up for it. The amount of points I was given amounted to a free drink...I was upset by this, as it didn't even come close to fixing the situation. On 10/23/22 I went back in and ordered the same thing again hoping for a better experience. This time the sandwich was substantially larger, but instead of ordering a cup of soup I paid extra for a bowl of soup. When I got home to open my soup it was half full... but the bowl they use has a centimeter ledge on the bottom of the bowl so it was probably 1/4 full. When I put my spoon into the soup the scooping part of the spoon was not even half covered. This company is trying to cheat you out of your money. DO...

Stopped by McAlister’s in Laramie last night to redeem my tea pass, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Nathan (I’m guessing he’s the manager/owner). Hands down one of the nicest humans I’ve ever interacted with at a restaurant.

The cashier helping me hadn’t redeemed a tea pass before, and Nathan immediately stopped what he was doing to help—no frustration, no impatience, just kindness. He walked her through it step by step and made sure she felt supported, not like she was bothering him.

While he helped with my transaction, we stood there just genuinely chatting about all the tea deals, including Free Tea Day coming up in July. It was honestly just such a nice interaction. You don’t always see upper management step in like that, let alone with that much positivity and care for both their staff and customers.

Oh—and the tea was delicious, as always. I’ll definitely keep coming back, because of awesome people like Nathan and the...

EDIT: I still stand by my previous review however I want to bring attention to the business that I had a cashier named Demi who was incredibly snarky and unkind. I was asking her questions about the kind of soups offered. I couldnt even hardly get a word out before she just said "nope, nope. Nope, we don't have that anymore". And it wasn't said in a kind way. Just very dismissive.

Previous review: Came in at 8:20pm and was going to order pickup as I knew they closed at 9pm and didn't want to be THAT person 😅. Jess was a SUPER sweetheart. She told me that I was more than welcome to dine-in and that they'd "love to have me". A guy with light hair (I think his name tag said "Sam") was also working who was also super accommodating. I have never felt more welcome. I don't know who reads these reviews but please send my biggest thanks to these too! They were the best and wonderfully welcoming! Oh, and the...

2025 Update: This place has gone downhill over the past few years. Prices are ridiculous, it’s just not worth it anymore. Nothing bad to say about the employees, but morale and the quality of food and service have severely gone down since the change in management. I won’t be surprised if they eventually go out of business. — I love McAlister's Deli! It's the first restaurant I tried in Laramie, Wyoming and it is SO GOOD. They offer a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked potatoes. They also have a Choose 2 promo where you can get half of anything on the menu + half of anything else on the menu! They have one of the best sweet teas. Although, personally, I prefer their half sweet and half unsweet. It's a nice place to dine in. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating as well!
