Fonda Don Martin — Restaurant in Laredo

TL;DR: Given the portion and flavor I thought I was going to pay way more, super worth it! :) Worth a visit, and might consider coming again. Make sure you have time to spare.

A group of four friends and I came to Don Martin's on a sunday morning rush. Undrerstandably so, the food did take a little while to come out ~30 minutes. So if you want to come here make sure you have time to spare. In terms of food, it was really good! I got the chilaquiles toluquenos and could taste all the ingredients nicely. Some of my friend's comments: "not enough egg on the migas but they tasted really good," "nice decorations, great orange juice." Excellent Mexican cuisine and lovely atmosphere, handmade flour and corn tortillas. A truly complete menu filled with great options. Some of the most popular items are: albondigas enchipotladas (chipotle meatballs) , Chile Relleno (stuffed poblano pepper), puntas a la Mexicana (Beef tips in sauce) ... other great options are pollo con mole, tampiquenas or enchiladas (many varieties). The temperture inside the resturant was super hot. The food was cold and Tortillas were old. They leave the tacos open and have the fans on high instead make fresh Tortillas and close the tacos. and turn fans on low and turn the AC on. This is the second time trying to Give this resturant a chance but I think I am done with this place. I like El Querreque...
