Taco Palenque McPherson — Restaurant in Laredo

Food is always great. I know that going to the drive thru is usually a 15 minute wait after placing an order. I mentally prepare for it and I completely understand. They are always busy. This time around it I was the only person waiting on the order queue. I was pretty excited for being this lucky. I know it's rare. Unfortunately, 30 minutes passed, and my order was not ready as I watched others get their orders. So I asked the runner about my order. He nervously laughed and said, your order has simply was not made yet. Something wasn't adding up. I walked inside and asked for my order. The manager said they were looking for me, but it was not what I had ordered. So instead the manager decided to scold me in front of other customers saying it was me that was in the wrong. I has to remind her about specific details of my order and my interaction with her to get her to remember. I kindly just requested for my order to be made. I kept my cool and was patient. Karens and Kens are the worst, I didn't want to be that way.

I know it's busy. I know it's stressful. I think it would be good to rethink and tune up their procedures for the Drive-Thru.

Other than that... the food will always sell itself. I just wished their service matched their...

I'm only posting because this is the 3rd time that they give me flour instead of corn!! If you are not going to give what you offer, why even ask.

I wanted to change my review because they called me and made it right. They gave me a free meal.. even though I didn't do this for that but because how frustrated is it to get home and can't even eat the food you got after a long day of work and sometimes I am just to tired to even go and drive all the way to taco Palenque McPherson but I was on that side of the town... and then to have ro wait for them to make your orden right after you already waited the first time.

Anyways, I requested redeem my gift at Taco Palenque Del Mar since it is closer to me and the location I usually go... well, they have amazing customer service, and they really make it up for that night, and the other times McPherson location messed up my order. More that happy, and anyways if they didn't give me that free meal, I will still continue going because it is one of my favorite places to go eat. Love taco Palenque ♥️ especially Del Mar location 🚩

“I’m so happy TP was finally able to get the order right.” Drove thru, ordered tacos and one of their plates. The young lady taking the order got it wrong four times. I had to repeat the order in both English and Spanish. I thought she had finally gotten it right.

Surprisingly we didn’t wait long. Once we got home, the plate was completely wrong. So, here I go heading back to get plate done right. A young guy was very attentive. Even reconfirmed the order before they made it. When I finally got my plate, I was handed a bag… plain and simple. Not a “we’re sorry” or “sorry for the mixup.”

What these people don’t understand is: a) my wife is sitting watching everyone eat without her. And, b) My food is getting cold while I’m out. My wife finally got her food thirty minutes later because of food prep, drive time and traffic. It was her idea to get Taco Palenque. Guess where we’re not going for a while. Everyone here failed, except for the young guy at the counter and the guy running food...
