McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Laredo

Taste of food was pretty good. Presentation of food was nice as well. Establishment is alright and it was clean. Prices are somewhat high but average to what you spend nowadays at most places and what you can expect is to spend $10-$15 per person for a full meal. My biggest issue with McAllister’s is how ridiculously cold it is inside. You can not enjoy your food because all you can think of is how cold you are. That is why I knocked off a star. Please fix this. I know some places use this as a strategy to make customers leave faster, and while I’m not sure if this is the case, just have it known that it worked but in the long run can hurt ratings. It’s not nice trying to enjoy a meal after a long winding day at work just to hardly remember what your food tasted like because you were freezing.

I found a deli place I like. I got the 2 choice option, which was a half sub/sandwich with a half a salad/spuds or cup of soup for $10.39 with a small kid's drink. Perfect portion size for an adult. I still had to take the sandwich with me due to being full. I got the French dip with broccoli and cheddar soup. The 2 women in the front I dealt with, they wore wonderful. My order was accurate. Combined to Arby's and their French Dip. You can taste the quality of it. Do I know if it's better quality? No, most foods are heavier processed now a days. I ordered a Jalapeño crunch and a chicken ceasar salad. They only put two chips in my sandwich, ham looked weird and old dark green soggy lettuce in my salad. I’ve came here a couple times and they always do something careless like that. This past time is where I draw the line. They put almost raw bacon in my sandwich and I had a stomach bug for 3 days. never had one before until I went here. Worst mistake of my life going there. Hope you guys go out of business.
